Chasing Sunshine By Veronica i prefer the summer time( Jul, Aug), I’m living in Liechtenstein, the neighbor of Switzerland, summer is the best time to travel here, you can have overview from the mountains, hiking is favorite activity of my family, you can do more outdoor activities, sightseeing. That’s just my point of view, i hope it will help you to have a good decision.

@@martinkulik9466 Everything. Public transport, the activities, food, renting a car, taking the gondola, getting on a ferry, staying in hotels, etc... Of course you can find loopholes, like supermarkets instead of restaurants, but this will ruin the quality of your stay. Supermarkets are expensive too, compared to global prices.

I know 😩 I moved here 6months ago, but between the train costs and the gondolas I often find it cheaper to spend a weekend in Germany, Holland, France literally almost any other country in western Europe 😂😂

Yeah, exactly, that's why salary is so high here in Swiss. When u compare it with prices, it is much better to pay food 2 times more, but have salary 3-4 times biger.

As a spaniard/brazilian going to live in Switzerland, that worries me lol

I hear ya! I went to Switzerland when I was 15 and it was phenomenal. Simply breathtaking. Swiss alps, went up to Mount pilatus, we went to lucerne and our tour guide gave us 2 hours of free time. Best experience ever. Found some of that Swiss chocolate and great pizza lol

Is this a joke? In 100-150 depends the speed there will be no more agriculture land in switzerland. From Geneve to Austrian Border just a big city. I have to say. Switzerland is indeed stunning. However. I love Italy and most of all Greece for being incredible countries. Why? Well. Italy and Greece both have amazing mountain sceneries themselves. And if we would compare all 3 just on mountains alone, Switzerland would be stiff competition and winning that aspect. However. And this is where I say that Italy and to me above all Greece are the most beautiful countries in the world. The countries Italy (65%) and Greece (80%) are incredibly mountainous, overfilled with stunning landscapes of and are incredibly diverse. Far FAR more diverse than Switzerland. Then Italy has 7500 km and Greece 16.000 km of the most crystal clear coastlines in the world. Greece more crystal clear throughout than Italy. Both countries are a cultural and historical showcase. Both countries have the highest biodiversity of Europe. Although Greece is 2x smaller, it packs the same amount of Biodiversity as Italy and more biodiversity than Spain which is landwise 3.5x bigger, and Greece has the highest endemicity in Europe, or in other words the most unique species. This has to do with Greece's next gem. And that is that it possesses next to it's 80% mountains also 6000 islands. So nature grows unique over time. The same applies to geology, nature, culture, local history, traditions, cuisine and so on that all are isolated from eachother giving humongous diversity. To picturesque towns and villages dotted everywhere. The climate is perfect, the food is heavenly and so much more. From Greece being one of the most natural hotspring rich nations in the world with 800 natural hotsprings, to geologial paradises and so on. It's almost ridiculous to have a country of just 132.000 km2, packing all the diversity of nations 10-90x bigger. I love Switzerland. Don't get me wrong. The video shows it's own stunning beauty. But in Italy and Greece you never get bored of the tremendous beauties in all facets. If I do every day something different, I will never have a day where I say, ugh I can't stand this or that anymore. And in Greece you don't have to travel 2000 km for the first mountains, or 1200 km for the first sea, or 800 km for the first important historic site. In Greece you can do all of it every single day at any corner of the country. You could be in massive mountains in the morning and while hiking be surprised of not only the much more diverse nature, but also all of a sudden finding a historic site. Then later on the day go swimming in the most incredible seas. Refresh yourself and eat heavenly food in a picturesque town with the most beautiful sunset on the sea. The is a unique beauty that in it's greatest form is almost seen nowhere else on the planet like it.

It's about as perfect as a country can get! So cool you were in Wengen and Lauterbrunnen.

Spotless streets is not that true because of graffiti. In my opinion, Switzerland is one of the worst countries in Europe when it comes to this problem. And it's not only in the cities. For example, when you take the train along Lake Thun towards Interlaken, you see the majestic mountains and glaciers in the distance, but you also see tons of vulgar graffitis all along the way on walls and buildings. It kinda ruins the ambiance, not to mention the pollution of soil that it implies. And it seems to me they're not really doing anything about it.
