Doing the tallest swing in the world whist on tour with Nitro Circus!
Even my girlfriend Alex Prout did it with me after a little bit of encouragement. Would you do this?
The tallest swing measures 88 m (288 ft 8 in) from the seat to the top of the cross bar and was constructed by B!g Rush (South Africa) in Durban, South Africa, on 14 May 2011. The swing was installed in the Moses Mabhida Stadium, where it was attached to the roof. Participants could swing from a platform across the football ground. For safety reasons the swings seat was 9 metres above the ground.

So much respect for Haffey. For someone with a fear of heights that must have been INTENSELY horrifying.... but he overcame the fear. I don't think many people realize how much guts that takes. What he did was seriously impressive.

This shit made me nervous just watching it and I’ve worked from relatively high heights, like 30+ feet in little tiny platforms and on 25 foot ladders and stuff. But that is just sooo fucking high to be right on the edge of a platform, I think I’d possibly faint, even with the harness on at all times
