South Coast Busways are finally expanding into Ryde, already served by the WightLine and CoastLine primary services. The new services consist of the first phase of the Ryde MiniLinks. Rather than forming a core network as in Cowes, the Ryde MiniLinks are centred around the Tesco to the southeast of the town, one route in particular- the 39- doesn't serve Ryde at all.
