Technique wise. No 1 replicate it perfectly, just the tone of his voice, he dont have kyu's voice. No.3 is so great and versatile. i was confuse between him with no.5 cos honestly, although no 5 has kyu's voice right from the get-go, its like kyu 100% singing on his bad days 😂. Like it's either no.3 or nervous/sick kyu no.5.. the panelist look highly on kyu technique, so most guess no.1 and no.3 instead. If they focus on the his vocal, the unique timbre and all, they will guess no.5, but kyu rarely made error.. thats why they go for no.3 😂. I appreciate no.3 though, he can imitate kyu so well and sing with his own voice on the next verse. Damn good voice too 👍🏼

all were fascinated because their voices were 90% the same as Kyuhyun's voice.. only Ryeowook realized it was Kyuh's voice.. maybe they were very close and close friends.. cool. 😀😘🤗👍🏻

Actually it's more easier to guess on screen cuz we are relaxed and voice is free of any noise but live u r nervous and people around u makes noise. And also they rather than hearing it naturally try to find instances where it sounds like him and that's actually make it difficult cuz of course contestant ha stone their homework they would nail all those parts more than anyone.

you can find the real Kyu by listening the highnote part when they sing the lownote part, it sounds similiar.. but when they sing the reff part and there's much highnote, you can hear the difference

Contestant 3 had his real voice come out at 3:00 and in my opinion it sounds better than imitating Kyuhyun. They all sing very well but I'm sure they will sound quite different if they have to sing a song that has never been sung before. I didn't know what this show is about and I thought I was listening to Kyuhyun with contestant 1, but after listening to 2, 3, 4 and 5, I was sure that Kyuhyun was the last singer. I don't understand how the SM members got it wrong or maybe it's that he sounds different live

This is so conflicting for Kyu... On one hand, he would be so happy that he is so recognized for his voice and listeners love his ballads... And on another hand, it's not a lie that imitation is the best form of flattery, the contestants did superb even surpassing he, himself, Kyu the OG, who ended up do not sound like his usual CD self because it's nerve wrecking for him singing among his voices' "clones"... Which only Wookie recognize coz they have been partners in crime for the longest time. Nevertheless Kyu should be so proud of himself and SM fam and the viewers reaction is 😱 Which is really 😂

I don’t think they sounded like KH. His breathing and tonality is different. They are at best 75% like his voice. There is this timbre in his voice that sounds a little different. 1 and 2 didn’t have that at all. It’s like if you order soup and there is a umami ingredient missing. Number 3 is more nasal and thin. 4 is most like him but even then, his breathing is different and his voice is a little deeper.

the impersonator sound more like kyuhyun than kyuhyun voice himself. 😂😂😂 but every singers voice change when they grew older. maybe the audiences only remember kyuhyun singing voice when he still young and at his prime time. anyway the impersonater did a great job. literally they have good singing skill and techniques. but like ryeowook said you cant replicate the original singer emotion. only kyuhyun has such sadness feeling to sing this song. thats what make kyuhyun different with the impersonators. his talents, professional and experienced in singing for many years cant be replace by the impersonator even they are good singers. you can copy the original singer techniques if you have good singing skill. but you cant copy the emotion and feeling of original singer if you dont sing sincerely and truely from in deep of your heart. thats what make you can captured the heart of listeners to hookup with the song.
