Aww what a sweet video! I hope Oma and Opa got to spend a lot of time holding and bonding with baby Ryker. I didn’t realize they lived that far away. The Romeikes are a precious family and I’m very thankful they were granted a year stay. I’m praying for that to become permanent for them! God bless them and Lydia, Trace, Ryker, and Maui! 💙🤍 Also, can’t wait to see Jackson’s and Emerson’s wedding!!

I was so happy to hear that so many of us signed the petition (over 100,00 - YEA!!) and that the government noticed and granted another year. Should have been much more but it's a start! Love you guys and hope you can let that worry go for at least a little while.

My cousins have an Oma and Opa on their mother's side of the family. They are also from Germany. Their family settled in Chattanooga. So happy the Romeike family get another year here! Praying that the government will grant them citizenship within this next year.

I am a little behind on watching your vlogs, but I wanted to say how much I love that Ryker will be calling Lydia's parents Oma and Opa. My father is from the Netherlands and I call my grandparents Oma and Opa as well. I am glad that you trip to see them went so well.

I love your e-bike! The color is great too! We live in NE Ohio in Amish country. These e-bikes are very popular here! They are safer for the biker too. We have buggies, wagons to vans and semis. Cool! Love y’all! Love that baby!🩵

Lydia, you are looking amazing! Hope you feel as awesome as you look. If I hadn't seen it, I would never have known you just gave birth a few short weeks ago? Ryker seems to be content and happy. I think he's starting to look a lot like Trace and Jeb. Definitely a Bates. You're doing a great job being a mom! This is my first time watching your channel. Ryker is such a handsome baby boy! My one observation, which I thought was a bit puzzling, is that the video was supposed to be about a trip to Oma and Opa’s house for Ryker to meet them for the first time, but it didn’t seem to show Oma or Opa meeting or interacting with Ryker. Did I miss something?
