Mireille Hayek is the Founder and Chef of SGR Group, the holding company of the Beirut-based Em Sherif Restaurant Group, with restaurant concepts which include: Em Sherif Restaurant, Em Sherif Café, and Em Sherif Sea Café.
Mrs. Hayek opened her first restaurant in Beirut, Lebanon, in 2011 and has since grown to have 21 restaurants across the Middle Eastern region including to date in Egypt, Kuwait, and Qatar to name a few, with locations in London’s Harrods and Monaco’s Hotel de Paris.
In 2011, Mrs. Hayek opened what would go on to become the crown jewel of her flourishing restaurant empire, Em Sherif, named this time around after her son.
