Just used my mister with 4AH battery for almost 3hrs running on high and mister on high. It was great, no issues! Had 3 bars on the battery so about 75%.

I was pleasantly surprised of how long the battery last with the mister

Wow. Those 6ah batts are expensive but worth it if they can run these fans for that long. Ordered a misting fan and 2 6ah batts for about $400 out the door. If the batts and fan last then it will be a good purchase if they don’t ill be done with ryobi products.

@--RSL-- you shouldn't have any problems with the 6Ah batteries, specially if it's to run a fan. The only problem I got is that the high impact wrench rattle to much and brake the cells plastic clips but it's fine with any other tools.

Just what I was looking for. The 1.5ah lasted me 2.5hr on high and I wanted to find what battery would last me an entire day. Manual states largest battery that fits with the cover closing is 4ah so confirming the 6ah HP fits and will last all day is info I was looking for. Thanks for the video.

@Nathan-jd1xm I'm glad that this test was able to give you the answers you were looking for. Thanks for watching!

Great video. I just picked up one of these. Don’t expect to use the water spray too much. Did you do any testing with the smaller batteries? It seems the 4AH is a good battery choice for this kind of fan.

Just bought on of these. Going to use it camping.

This fan works great! Camping will be the perfect place for it, specially cause if you don't have access to A/C

you dont need extra hose to have a mist? just use as is? thank you
@ToolspecsАй бұрын
@handworksotpc6220 the misting fan come with everything exept the bucket. There's already a hose the draw water from the bucket but you can attach a garden hose to it if you don't have a clean bucket.

I'm really surprised how small of a pump must be in there to spray so robustly because usually a sprayer or misting ring requires the power that generates from the water company. I set mine back quite a ways from me but it's great in August ETex summer nites with ice and icewater inside a cooler. I drilled a hole for the hose- keeps it colder longer to be in a cooler.

Thankyou so much for your tests because nobody has ran a test on how long the fan can run on high 😭😭😭🫱🏾🫲🏽I appreciate it. My fan came with a 1.5ah battery so I definitely need to get one that lasts this long😭

Thank you for stopping by to watch the video. I'm thinking about doing more time test but using 2ah and 4ah batteries.

@@kaylalowe7022 I have a drill and got a used cooler on marketplace. I drilled a hole big enough to drop the hose down into the cooler (i set the fan on top- have to make sure the cooler's top is flat enough for that). I froze up large blocks of ice and of course also put refrigerated water in cooler. Perhaps Mr. Toolspecs can do testing like that to see how long the cold can hold. :) Good battery plus long ice life is good! Granted, you can always bring extra cold water and ice with you in a separate cooler (esp Yeti-type) to change out when needed but I think most of us only use it in the hottest part of the day 1pm to 7ish. Some Yeti offshoots (if you're camping and want to bring extra ice) can keep ice more than a day if unopened.
