Ryobi just announced the newest additions to the Vacuum line up, improving the already awesome stick vac and adding a wet/dry floor cleaner and a lite high capacity vac all on the 18volt one+ batteries which means yes the same battery as your tools. If you have kids these are the vacs for you!

There's some review saying that the battery overheats... i wonder if you've had this issue. a 40V option would be better to solve the quick drain issue

I operate a cleaning business. We currently have 19 of the dual roller HP stick vacuums from last year. Almost every single one of them had both their wheels break off. I was really hoping for design update this time around. Maybe next model .......

I was thinking the upright one for commercial use. We don't need the hose or attachment use. 1l dust cup is a nice add and the extra cyclones.

milwaukee for commercial, they have an m18 backpack vac that beats any stick vac for someone whos going to be cleaning all day

You bought homeowner versions of vacuums to do commercial work because you didn't want to pay the premium for commercial rated vacuums. We do not feel sorry for you and your incorrect business decisions. "You can't always get what you want ". Now you are trying to make Ryobi look bad because you made an incorrect decision. 😢😢😢

@@davids8493 You hear business and instantly think these vacuums are on 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. The average use time each one of these units sees is less than an hour per week. Less than a residential use case. Do you own one of these vacuums? Have you personally seen how poorly executed the wheel design is?

I own a Dyson as well and I suspect they are similar but the nice thing with Ryobi is you can swap in a new battery and keep going.

Both of my Ryobi vacuums broke within 6 months of purchase and won't free stand. I use them for work but we aren't hard on these vacuums. Have you seen this same problem with these new ones?

If you use these for work then they are being used hard. They are built for homeowner use. If you are using it for work, then pony up the money for commercial or industrial versions. = more costs.

I would buy a commercial one, but I can't find one I like. Thanks for your unhelpful comment. You literally don't know how much or how often or how well i maintain and take care of my vacuums. Many people have found the stand feature broke, even using at home.

@@alishagarcia5150 I apologize if my comment was harsh. But no one can expect to do commercial work with these plastic homeowners grade vacuums. We have a 15 year old Kirby and it is built like a tank. It also weights about the same. We use a Makita stick vac 95% of the time because of the weight. It comes with a bracket to store it in.

The thing keeping me with Dyson is the way it charges on a hanging wall dock without having to remove the battery, and the way the dustbin opens to empty without removing it from the tool. To empty and put away takes about 1/4 as long with a Dyson. Until ryobi can match that, I'll stick with my Dyson.

This stick vac does charge the battery while on the dock so you don’t have to remove it. But you do have that option to put a bigger battery for longer run time which sucks on Dyson’s, I have one myself. I use a Milwaukee M18 battery adapter to get better run time with my Dyson and I love it!

@@james2042 I was stating the fact that this new Ryobi stick vacuum does charge the battery while on the charger dock. In the video you can see the battery plugged into the vacuum while hanging on the dock and charging at the same time. My Dyson stick vac has a Milwaukee M18 adapter on it so I don’t get that luxury anymore. My adapter though allows me to not have to hold the trigger while operating it, love that feature!

The wet dry stik vacuum is peak hood parent. I cleaned up spaghetti. Eggs. Milk. Cereal. Syrup. Soda. Water. Lasagna. Dirt. Mud. Hair. Beer. Liquor. Chips. Queso. Pee. You name it. It’s done it. Lmfao

I’m on the fence of purchasing it, how would u say it does with pet hair or hair general?? (4 girls🤦🏻‍♂️)
