In this video i show and explain how the oil system works, and how to replace the saw chain as well as how to get the correct tension.
This is a Ryobi 8" Pole Saw from the P4360 tool only kit.
I had to bring my own battery, and bar and chain oil.
As a bonus footage i show how i cut a branch that is 10ft up in the tree.

Always cut the underside of the branch a short distance the top, and it won't bind the saw or tear the bark from the tree.

Somehow I found more on chain lubrications. Amount of lubricant to pour into reservoir is 2oz.(manual page 16) Also to prevent seepage, you are expected to empty the oil tank after each use.(manual page 11). Unfortunately these important informations are scattered and buried in between of many repetitious “Warning”, making manual consumer unfriendly.

Yes, i noticed. I had one from HF, and this is way better quality for sure. I like to not have to pull a cord behind me.

There’s no mentioning about amount of chain lubricant to pour into. Also is lubricant supposed to be drained off to avoid soil of storage area? Cleaning can be more throughly done with tooth brush.
