The fact that Saro himself, had such a problem being a judge for a brief moment in time is amazing, i thought nothing could put doubt in this mans looping, to me it looked like Saro had a mini existential crisis level of decision to make. Personally i was leaning towards Brez because that sequencer bit was on point, but again this is a video, and the sound will be different from video to live. The loopstation category is going crazy lately, top 8... top 16 is not enough anymore, up until this year most loopers have had a huge wall to climb, but some entirely new loopers ive never heard of before have made it so close to top 16, i think Gasper Grom had his first live perfomance this year. Nothing about this battle was quarter final, it was way too insane.

There are so many good loopers now but more than top 8 for battles would be to much. You need 6 killer rounds + elimination to make it trough. Everything above that would lead to much more repitition, imo.

I said it on the SBX official video, I'll say it here...this absolutely felt more like a Final than a Quarter Final. It's really unfortunate that these two got paired in the Quarter Finals because I could have seen either one in the Grand Finale. That being said, the competition in the loopstation category has leveled up exponentially in the last couple of years. Every looper this year had the chops to be a lights-out finalist. This is but the beginning! I do miss the loopstation days of yore though where rounds were mostly voice, beatbox, and a little bit of reverb. These new machines take a single note and create intricate melody sequences out of them so I almost want to see a 'Classic' category where you're limited to just an MK1 or older device (like the Kaoss Pad) and the 'Advanced' category where you can use anything and everything.

I love how Inkie voted for BreZ. He's really a technical style. more than rap and think he will like Rythmind more and glad I followed THePETEBOX given his judges vote. Saro I'm not surprised he gave Rythmind as he already liked this technical style over BreZ's rap, even though he's a friend.

The most insane loopstation battle of 2021.. it was pretty crazy on the day, I was watching it live on the swissbeatbox channel and out of nowhere Rythmind sends a Thunderstruck from AC DC!! I went crazy haha 🇧🇷🔥👏🔥 A Pity TWO LEGENDS OF THIS CALIBER FACING EACH OTHER IN THE QUARTER FINAL AND NOT THE FINAL!! BUT OK

BREZ'S BOSS RC 505 MK1 Release date: April 2013 RHYTHMIND'S BOSS RC 505 MK2 Release date: January 2022 2022 Device in the Grand Beatbox Battle 2021......? Rules permitted the RC 505 sure. But the makers of the RC 505 MK2 didn't permit everyone to use it. Not until 2022. Brez and the other competitors were restricted to the RC 505 by GBB But so was everyone since 2014. It was always fair this way. Rhythmind was one of the only people in the world to own an MK2. Not scheduled for release until 2022. This is rotten in the eyes of fairness. Blurred in the eyes of equality. I respect both competitors. I respect all competitors, now and forever. If Brez was given the choice to use the MK1 or the MK2 then it is a VERY, VERY different story. But....He wasn't. As a competitor how would that make you feel? If your opponent was given a choice you weren't. Would you be ok with being called the loser in a battle? I will never be able to forgive them for the position they allowed Brez to be put in. Siwssbeatbox - You have failed the competitors. This is the most heartbreaking thing to have ever occurred in the GBB.

You literally don't know what you're talking about dude. Why are you just making things up? That is not how it went down at all. All of the competitors voted on if the MK2 was allowed to be used. Swissbeatbox did not just blanket allow it in. You are confusing battle talk with real animosity. As far as I can recall, only two people voted against it out of every competitor that made it to Eliminations. At the end of the day, Bizkit won with his MK1. It's not about the device. Also, you are silly to think the MK2 is such a huge advantage when the Line 6 Helix, the TC Helicon, the BOSS SY-1000, and several other devices were already allowed and were in use by multiple people. They even allowed midi controllers IN ADDITION to their second devices this year! Both Frosty and DICE had a Novation Launchpad in addition to their Line 6 Helix. If it was a RC-505 competition only, you'd have a point. But it wasn't.

sorry for everything. either ryhmint or brez supporters. Let's be mature together in this race. I think and believe that the jury and the audience know who deserves to win. and that we can see from the judges judging and the audience listening to their every performance and I really agree that ryhmint won. and it's proven how the audience's expression with ryhmint's performance is far from brezz where the audience's expression is just ordinary. and I'm sure the comments on the swissbeatbox channel are mostly brezz supporters who don't accept being defeated. in quality ryhmint jaul better. and also forgot to look at the expressions of the judges. the key is to look at the audience and the judges. let you know who deserves to win

The audience had no where near an ordinary reaction towards Brez. Brez brought an amazing fight towards Rythmind and the crowd showed enthusiasm to both of them. It's just that the Thunderstruck riff was nothing we've ever heard before in a loop station battle thanks to that MK2 and got extra wows. There's a reason the judge result was a split decision, they both were crazy. Both the judges and the crowd were jamming to Brez too. Look at them at 3:55 and 9:03, Brez got the crowd going too, especially at 12:08. It was a close af battle. Saro needed extra time to judge because he couldn't make his mind up, considering the split decision if Saro had flipped his decision Brez would've won. Rythmind deserved his win, but that was a crazy fight that could've gone either way.
