I think solar plexus needed it, its so dumb in the old patch. 20f su and then +1 but out of throw range..so all you can really do is press lp to stop them from mashing…and sometimes it doesnt even reach and Ryu gets hit pff +3 is great, you can now press mp and if it counter hits, cmk always combos And the denin od hasho needed the nerf because he will have denjin a LOT now, he gets it much easier and can keep it for combos now. Man hes good, i just did the luke video, ryu is better than him, im calling it

Haha you can do it! Start simple by getting the charge and then doing mp, cmp qcb p+p. That will crumple them (charged od hashogeki). After that you can do hp, hk, charge to get the charge back again orrr hp into light tatsu if you wanna keep attacking 🙌

Im honestly stunned by how many clear buffs they gave him, this is crazy haha enjoy them! He’s mega good in the corner now with better zoning and better neutral conversions. And better pressure LOL what..

Yw!! Yea man the denin charge (keeping it) is big, but the new ways and setups (corner) to get them are just as big. Then the +3 on fhp is nice, he got a lot of stuff 😎

Giga buffed is accurate haha if you take these buffs and add the hashogeki buffs from last minor update, he is so much better now then at launch

I think the denjin charge and the target combo cancels are massive. He’s gonna knock you down in the corner, get denjin, and be plus enough to press a medium that will also leave him plus. Its mad scary to press on him now, a punish counter into of hashogeki = death ☠️ honestly better to see if they are willing to throw loop you and then try a jump

I think Ryu is atleast as good as Ken and Luke now, might be better. If i had to pick now for a tournament in 3 months? In picking ryu

Well its out of throw range, he has to walk up to enforce a strike/throw mixup so its not that oppressive imo, its not as good as dragon lash for example. It has 20 su, is jumpable, DI’able, not that hard to parry..i dont think this buff is THAT great, just useful because at +1 its pretty bad The ability to keep his denjin charge and the TC’s that cancel into charge are much more dangerous imo

Nah, Ryu deserves every buff and then some. This past year has been a struggle dealing with the stuff other characters have been able to do. Ryu had to fly to where others could walk, too. Now, hopefully, in season 2 and beyond, Ryu can get some respect put back on his name and let people know who the real main character is 😂

Im doing the Luke patch next, almost done and bro…they def nerfed him and with these massive buffs to ryu, im pretty sure Ryu is the better shoto rn! Holy shit who woulda thought that

The dmg output against Akumas low health is def incouraging! It just depends on how dominant Akuma is So far, from what ive seen, ryu is better than ken and luke, i honestly think he is

@@iZonkGaming2021 Luke maybe the worst shoto character in S2 5HP is a big buff, but would any Luke players want to change this buff for those nerf? I guess not Most of the big combo routes in match up are not start with 5HP, it start with 2MP, 4HK or 2HP 5HP only use as big combo starter when shimmy Whiff punish big mistake Lucky jump in Times will tell
