I was my school champion at SFII on the SNES. I remember being able to play it on hard for ages without losing a round and I'd beat anyone who joined in. I'm shit at the new ones, I hate all the stupid super combos.

Me too mate.I used to play this on the SNES with my brother and we'd argue over the best of the two SNES controllers. He's gone now, so I just have my memories.

It's been a steep climb since SFII because it was beyond revolutionary when it came out. alongside TMNT, one of the first machines in Australia that commanded $1aud per play. I personally think things peaked with Zero.
