There is a lot of matchups I'd want, most/all involving Golden Sun characters. Two I really like the idea of being Isaac (as of Dark Dawn) vs Father (Fullmetal Alchemist) both at full power (so all 72 djinn for isaac and end of manga for father) that'd be neat. Otherwise a competition between link and isaac, framed as a race through parralel dungeon paths with items to find on side routes, where the first arrived gets to pick the best piece of gear waiting in the arena (so potentially no master sword for link for example, or maybe non gets specific items like that, but can find other weapons on the way, from each other's franchises)
