RZR Trail S 1000 Sunset Sand Dune ride at Little Sahara State Park Oklahoma

You'll need a ten foot whip with an orange flag on it to ride the Little Sahara dunes near Waynoka Oklahoma. The tip of the whip needs to be at ten feet after being mounted on your machine. I bought a whip prior to going to the dunes. It was too short. There is an UTV/ATV store right next to the camping area, you can ride your side-by-side to it. It has plenty of stuff. Tires, parts, tee shirts, and long whips and orange flags.
We took our 2024 Polaris side by side, UTV, whatever you’d like to call it, to the sand dunes at Little Sahara State Park near Waynoka Oklahoma. That’s right. We have sand dunes in the state of Oklahoma!
We learned how beautiful these dunes were while at the same time coming to realize it would be much better if we had some paddle tires on our RZR. Our trail tires worked…..but paddles would have been amazing!

🐫Hi Ben and KH! Did you like the camel? It is the Sahara out there! So beautiful and fun! I take it you have to be pretty careful going to top of those dunes, might be a big drop off! Sunset is perfect! So happy you booked another trip. We hear you KH. We are used to so many Gigantic mountains, but we have a Sahara near here too! Amazing memories! Thanks for showing the sights!

Sherry, yes you have to be careful coming up on a dune because you don't know how steep the other side is until you're right on it. I kept thinking that someone was going to be on the other side and crash into us.

Cool video, going fast enough to have fun but slow enough to avoid a cliff or a collision, well done! If you're using GoPro, KH, a trick I've learnt to reduce wind noise is cut out a small square of duct tape ( just big enough to cover the holes on the front of the camera) stick it over the holes, &, with a pin or needle, poke 2 or 3 holes in the tape so that the mic holes line up - works on my electric skateboard up to 35mph. It's free ( my favourite thing!) & can be peeled off & discarded in seconds. PS sunset was well worth the wait! :)

The panoramic sunsets in Oklahoma are insane. I couldn’t begin to tell you how many I took. The landscape here and out there are both amazing but a huge juxtaposition.

Oklahoma has the most beautiful skies. We really need to make our way out to the East Coast for some great seafood.

@@hanginwithkh2021 come on! We are renovating and the crew won’t be done until about this time next year but we have a huge driveway for the rv. We hope the kitchen and downstairs will be finished by late September.

@mancavechronicles2139 we are good here. Thanks for thinking about us. We have an above ground storm shelter in our garage, so it's super easy to get in it with the dogs.
