@@Jebook Relax, I'm not assuring anything... I'm not a developer or anything. Don't get excited about what I say. However, with the speed of the S&Box, a closed or perhaps open alpha is likely to come out for the rest of us.

They're working on it... there are already some videos from a few months ago where they tested TTT on Source 2... of course, it's still in very early development.

Quick summary: Garry Newman is the creator of Garry's Mod, years later he created Facepunch Studios, which of course everyone knows them for being the creators of Rust... Garry, since a few years ago, approximately between 2016 and 2017, already he started working and creating a full spiritual successor to Garry's Mod, which we all know today as S&Box... but he was doing it with the Unreal 4 graphics engine and was in its infancy. But when Half-Life: Alyx came out and finally, some time after that release, Valve gave Garry and Facepunch Studios the opportunity to fully use Source 2 (although that graphics engine already existed since 2015) to create the new one GMod... indeed, Garry made the decision to move his already-done work from S&Box in Unreal 4 to Source 2... and in the process added a few weapons... AND THEY ARE ALL FROM RUST. Although in the future, we could see other and more various weapons or different versions of the same weapons (aesthetically speaking) instead of the Rust version.

Just because its a sandbox game with guns doesnt mean its a gmod copy. Also, this is made by the same person who created Gmod.
