Great video. I use the s curl activator during my stretching . I part my hair and spray directly on my scalp . It softens the new growth tremendously, I can stretch for up to 5 months when using the s curl activator. I only allow it to go on my ends if I'm wearing my hair in a ponytail because it makes the hair limp.

Hey Simone. So happy that you like the video. I have heard great reviews about the Scurl so I really wanted to see how it compares. I also experience the limpness you speak of. That part don't I don't like at all. I stopped using it and went back to my Care Free Curl but sister lives the Scurl. All the best with your hair journey 💕

So I got the carefree gold today. So far so good. This may be the product I was looking for 🧐 I wanted something that would moisturize intensely and contained a light bit of protein, since my holy grail S Curl was constantly giving me moisture overload and limp/thin looking hair. This one seems to keep my hair fluffy. Just hope I don't get protein overload 😩😩😩 but thnx for the recommendation!

@@patb2582 hey, I'm happy it's working for you so far. you could consider alternating between the two. that's what I've been doing since I bought the Scurl. For instance this weekend my hair was feeling a bit dry but I didn't have the time to wash it so I used the Scurl. In the morning when I'm gonna style my hair for work I'm gonna use the care free curl gold and my ors oil lotion since my hair is feeling a bit limp from the Scurl.

Next time put care free then put a shower cap on for 35mins to an hour to lock in the moisture

🎉It’s the glycerine or the ph of the product that could be making you itch. So… put some peppermint and tea tree oil in the bottle. That should help you.

Both s curl and care free curl work well for natural and relaxed hair. Everyone hair is different so nothing beats a try.

@@therelaxedafro7539 Yes, that's for sure. I used a lot of hydrating deep conditioners. Like the Shea manuka honey. The herbal essence hydrating conditioner. Mixed with raw honey. Because i am high porosity.I used lots of oils in my hair. I love the s curl. I used it to moisturizer my hair every night. Love your channel. ❤ Canada 😆👍

I need to do an updated video on this because I can only use the Scurl if I'm gonna wash my hair the next day. It makes my hair soft to the point that it gets mushy and then I have to do I protein treatment. So sticking to my Care Free Curl Gold which I bought in a wholesale in Clock Tower Plaza .

@@victoriaferraro7390 I bought mine in Fontana Pharmacy. I need to do an updated video because I stopped using the S curl because it over-moisturizes my relaxed hair and then it gets mushy and breaks. It works great for some people though so be sure to do your research before you purchase.

@@therelaxedafro7539 This is a really late reply, but Carefree Gold works best for me. It feels so much more slick and smooth. I do keep Scurl for when my roots grow out and I'm stretching, but I don't like it all over my hair like I do with Carefree Gold.
