SHF Denji is actually a good figure with all his accessories. The only negative tging about it is exactly what you noticed, its his shoulders. I don't know what Bandai/Tamashii was thinking. 🙄 But luckily there's a easy fix, which is to interchange Chainsaw man's (even better if you have a spare) shoulders with Denji's and done. Denji is so much better like this. His arms can come down closer to his body, no gap in his armpits, and it looks more aligned and clean.

I thought this too but the peg sizes are too different :(( Really brings the figure down but imo still worth getting

This figure was priced too high for what is mostly reuse. 5000-5500 would have been more fair imo. This is probably wait for sale or pass if it doesn't drop low enough for me.

it'd honestly be fine if they hadn't screwed up the shoulders from the chainsaw man release. if it was just a completely functional second body that was aside from the arms and head basically identical. the figma was around 12,000 yen, give or take, this SHF and the Chainsaw Man together are just slightly above that, and they come with more and *would have given you a full extra body if they had done it right*. Sadly, they somehow ruined a great body by unnecessarily changing it for Denji.

@@Zakjuh I completely agree. Not to mention amiami has the figma CSM for only a few hundred yen more than the figuarts. At that price it's definitely better value..

Clearly you’ve never seen their dragon ball z line, they resell the same bodies for 35 to 100 bucks

@@bigounce8549 I'm actually pretty familiar with that line. The DBZ line rarely re-uses parts and bodies to make new figures unless it's a different form of Vegeta or Goku and those cost no more than $40. For a flagship character from a popular series like Denji/Chainsaw Man this figure really should have been around the 4000-5000 yen range. Especially when the only thing new about it is his forearms and head when not counting accessories. The DBZ equivalent of this Denji release would have only been 4000 yen at the most. There's really no reason why they couldn't have priced this quite a bit lower if they wanted to considering the amount of re-use and the fact that he's a popular character. Bandai just greeding out with this release and them being able to sell Tanjiro and Luffy at 3500 with no re-use just proves it..

@@omegashenron8 no… characters like ssj2 goku and MUI goku toyotaro both cost about $70-80 individually and both re use bodies weve seen on $35 figures. So no shf does use numerous times the same bodies and fluctuates the price 35 to sometimes double that. So its really not out of the blue that they do something similar do denji.
