This just leave a sour taste in those of us who bought the original because it's not like we could simply buy a second one to replace the original. That's like paying double just to get a decent figure. But I supposed I can still live with the issues the first one had.

Well, every once in a while, companies make mistakes. But then again, you could be buying a mafex and this is just a regular thing.

Doesn't have an effect on the poses you can get this thing in or the sculpt work. Joints will wear out just as quickly as the original.

A bigger issue is that there’s no way to ensure you’re getting the reissue, especially for somebody like me who lives in Canada and can’t order from PBandai So I don’t even have the option for a second purchase.

Glad that reissue version has fixed QC so i can know get this finally, on side note the reissue version of SSJ 4 Goku and Bardock has also fixed QC, SSJ 4 Goku's loose joints has been solved and Bardock's tight biceps has been fixed on the reissue copies, hoping the reissue of Legendary SSJ Goku will have better chest skintone.

yea i dont think its as known as much about SS4 Goku because i don't think his QC was as consistantly bad as this Trunks, but a lot of people had super loose copies. I got the reissue and he has that more smooth feel the other 3.0s have. the only issue mine had was his neck would go down on his own so his head wouldn't hold entirely upright. I just stuck some of that stomach plastic piece that comes on the waistjoin in his neckpeg to make everything more snug and it basically made him perfect. thats cool to know that bardock got fixed too. looks like the lesson is to never pre-order the first run of general releases. 😅

Just gone mine and the quality is night&day. Idk how tamashii thought the first one was okay to release. The reissue is what we shoulda got in the first place. Its sooo good. I can finally enjoy this figure. The overall colors on this one is much better. Its not as dull looking as the first one

another QC that not a lot of people know is that the 1st release of Trunks 2.0, a KZfaqr/Instagram user Guywebz, his Trunks 2.0s thigh swivel the joint that allows it to rotate popped off and in some copies thr hip joints snap.

My reissue still had an older issue, as well as a new QC issue. In terms of the old issue, it still had loose ankles. In terms of the new issue, it had a floppy mid-torso joint. I ended up kitbashing a better QC figure out of my original and the reissue. Not happy about having to double dip and part swap, but at least I now have a Future Trunks with passable QC...

Just got my copy! Vast improvements all around for sure, but unfortunately the sword strap on mine is still prone to coming off while posing. It's definitely better than the first release, but doesn't hold as well as yours in the video, haha (I tried to shake it like you did and it still came off quite easily) 😂

As an owner of this new one, he feels a little weird and for some reason mines neck peg is completely orangey goldish . And the sword sheath plug in strap is still bad on my end, but still a 7.9/10 figure.

I always assumed the reissues were 1:1 copies. Great for those that missed it the first time, makes me a bit sad about mine though.

Honestly I got lucky with mine 1st issue cus the bicep doesn’t fall off and the only bad “qc” on mine is the strap to the sword sometimes doesn’t stay on or hard to peg but once I peg it it won’t fall off

My reissue figure came in today and im so disappointed because one of the 2 sword strap button is too loose. The other one is fine, but that one is too lose and I cannot pose him while he has it on. Also, his left knee cover piece is completely loose, it doesnt stay in at all when I have his leg all the way folded. It just falls. Im gonna have to glue these 2 pieces

pretty sure most stores from this point forth will have the reissue as after a bit they set something out of stock even if it's not actually just to take it out of circulation, so if any site says pre-order instead like global freaks, it's the reissue
