I think dbs is basically just Tamashii's side gig. They don't use 3.0s for releases other than Super Hero Gohan because with 2.0s, they can release the same figure with slight differences and make tons of money off of it due to scarcity. Tamashii can't be planning to make too many more 2.0s for the Z line, so I think they'll just do the 2.0s for Super for that extra cash.

2.0 by now's a budget staple. Acceptable around the $35 dollar price point. 3.0 currently would be running at a premium like the GT figures and Krillin. Gohan being an exception and then there's Orange Piccolo. Which if they can duplicate that but a medium range form say the Buu saga, then it'd justify the price.

imo with the 3.0's we've gotten so far, i feel like it fits better for more bigger and muscular characters so to me 2.0 seems perfect for godku

One thing I hate about this goku is the yelling face. His eyes are looking in a direction and not straight, I always hate when they do that, if I want a yelling pose with this goku and he’s supposed to be facing to the right and he’s looking to his left just bugs me
