Honestly I’m perfectly okay with types of re-releases, as you said it gives people an opportunity get a figure they might’ve missed out on + the entry level price point is a nice bonus and that’s always a good thing imo. Also regarding the super saiyan hair, I don’t mind the metallic but I wish Bandai would pick a color scheme/style and just stick with it. So far we have metallic gold, yellow, and the more blonde coloring seen with the superhero Gohan and I wish it was all more consistent.

As someone who is just over three years into collecting I like reissues of older figures. The aftermarket prices aren't always kind.

The $35 price point is great. I love re-releases though if I wanted the original I'd probably be annoyed with the different color and slimmer accessories, but these variations have their own place and I like having all a unified look and color pallet to my own tastes. If I had the budget I'd probably get all the gold hair variants, I like the look especially with the more vibrant colors

Getting both versions on the split screen, nice touch

The blue suit, skin tone, and yellow hair are definitely more accurate to the anime, and I love the more detailed faces, so it's good to have both releases. It's the same I noticed with the recent anime color version of the Sailor Moon figuarts

Daft and verbose name aside, I quite fancy this Super Saiyan Trunks figure as opposed to the S.H.Figuarts ‘Super Saiyan Trunks Boy from The Future’ you reviewed back in May of this year. In fact, I prefer it over the original release; the colours are vibrant-the blue especially-so much so, that they just pop and look aesthetically pleasing. I still really wish they make a ss grade 2 for trunks. Dude was the base reference for broly and i love that form so bad. Especially since they're making more expressive and assymetrical eye expressions too.

Question of the day: Absolutely. I have the OG version but I got this from BBTS. The OG version can keep the base Trunks head so it works. Plus it goes well with the re-released Vegeta.

Reissues allowed me to regain some figures i had to sell at one point but now i was able to repurchase SSB Gogeta, Super Buu, and buy for the first time Super Broly Final Form

I definitely like these specific reissues they're doing as it gives people a chance who didn't collect at the time while still not being a straight reissue. What's funny about these reissues and the event exclusive color ones is that they're more anime accurate with the colors and faces.

I’ve got this figure, It’s a really nice figure. It fits in well with my ssj Goku cell saga and ssj vegeta cell saga, I’m getting my cell saga gohan in 3 days. I can’t wait to have the cell squad

This is my second ever SH Faries the first one I ever had was a Spider-Man one and it snapped in half. It might’ve been a bootleg, but I don’t know this one’s so far feels so much better.

Very glad they do these budget rereleases for newbies like me. I have been window shopping this line for the longest time. I had the original golden frieza release when it first came out and that was it until recently. These 35 dollar releases finally got me in. Now i have saiyan raised on earth, full power, and broly movie blue goku. As well as 4th form frieza, the recent ss vegeta and now this trunks. The trouble now is tracking down all those p bandai releases ive missed out on

Well I don't mind rerelease of the same figure if I missed out on getting the previous one, especially when figure was release years ago.

The color of the saiyan armor is a lot nicer, picked this up and put the super trunks demoniacal headsculpt and it looks AMAZING. Might pick 2 more for the pony tail ss and body for goku ss

Ive got the original but im very tempted to get this one and put the mat hair from the original onto this vibrant body with the new face sculpts.

I've only started collecting this line in the past year and will pick this up, but i would have been happy paying more for the base head since I like the long hair look. Still hoping we eventually get the movie version

Question of the Day: Absolutely, if it’s cheap enough I’d gladly buy the updated version. I really like the old version, I’m fairly certain it was my first SHF Dbz figure but I’m certain whenever this new version arrives I’m going to enjoy it all the same. It’s kinda frustrating to have have tracked down some of the earlier releases when they’re just gonna do this, I’d gladly prefer a new character. I’m torn because obviously a lot of us want this to keep going. Or man.. Just wait until they decide to rerelease those Legendary Super Saiyan Broly figures or that Planet Arlia Vegeta🤞 Also gotta wonder if they’re gonna do re-releases for characters like the Time Patroller and Xeno Trunks too. Why the hell doesn’t he have the base form head? That makes me pretty irritated considering the amount of time he spent in it in the show. It’s also irritating that he has metallic hair when the other trunks they just released doesn’t. In my opinion, I’d prefer my figures match. Leave the fancy stuff for the events
