As someone who owns the bootleg the atomic breath literally doesn’t even go in the mouth. Also, you need to use the neck piece to hold his head up and it’s fine

Good review. It's honestly a decent figure and it looks great on in a toy bucket alongside its equals like Funko and Playmates. My toddler has a blast with em in his room and more importantly he doesn't touch my museum quality adult collectible Hiya figures.

Not a bad grab on either side, all things considered. Even with shipping lol This was one of the few times I saw a SHMA on HLJ actually come back into stock multiple times. Crazy.

Sadly accurate. Which is a shame given that SHMA’s Toho line is as good as it is sculpt and paint-wise, but they didn’t carry over the same level of quality to their Monsterverse releases.

i think it's clear they just wanted to pump these out quick because evolved wasn't ready to show yet. i think... it's just not a big deal imo. i don't know what a lot of the outrage was about lol im debating getting it just because it looks so pretty lol

I thought It was funny, if anything, when these were revealed. End of the day it's nowhere near as offensive as people made it out to be, really. The new paint-job and actual accessory + sale price, was more than worth it.

I think, the Hiya is more accurate, that is a fact, but I prefer the SHMA sculpt for some reason. I think if the SHMA had the Hiya Toys paint can be the perfect figure for me with the Hiya Toys.

I will definitely buy it, even though I already have the gvk version. For one simple reason. I want to have Godzilla from monsterarts with atomic breath. Of my 9 godzillas from monsterarts, none of them have it, unfortunately

@@Nemesis_Slime loved the concept of that album, extra loved Ellyllon’s work on the keys, she was fantastic. It’s one of the albums from that part of their career that was relentlessly good the entire way through. Evermore Darkly was a fire extension as well! The fact that 2011 to 2012 had 4 whole releases from them and were all (personally) really awesome, was beautiful. Hoping they can follow Existence is Futile up. What surprise that album turned out to be. Lord.

Hiya's Pre evolved Godzilla (Repaint): Repaint, Updated neck piece for better movements, Better eyes, Better teeth paint, Updated tail joints for more possibility, Cheaper than competitors, Could skip for the Energized Godzilla Version for the same price SHMA GxK Godzilla (Repaint): Repaint, Same problems, Cost more. Gotta love Tamashii and their stubbornness and those who thinks this is okay to be tolerated. Honestly, if you just gonna put it in the shelf, Buy Hiya. The only thing this thing is worth is when you do Stop motion. Then again, it doesn't look like Godzilla. He still looked like an inbred distant cousin of Godzilla from 5 years ago. Make the right choice with your money, folks.

Info was tossed out in a comment on the unboxing video of this figure. Had to put 'apparently' in there because I couldn't find much other than people making a pretty good argument for it. Realistically though, it may very well be an intentional change on their part, or the prior. either way, It's dumb

They apparently lost the CG files for Godzilla from KOTM so they were never able to accurately recreate the head used on the original release of KOTM Godzilla.

My opinion on the figure yes it has a good ass paint job but it’s not my thing and I don’t like it and I wouldn’t buy it but I’m not the type person to say. If you buy it you’re an idiot. You like Huey Lewis and the News? Their early work was a little too new wave for my taste. But when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.
