A live performance from the year 1976. It is almost unbelievable that Mori Masako was only 17 years old when she sang this Japanese enka. Her rendition is so emotional and strong. How can a young girl cries the pain of love so deeply! She really put her soul (kokoro) into this sad love song. By the way, the original singer of this song was Miyako Harumi.
This is a fan-made music video, which I've edited myself. Film tells about the World War II and the Operation Ten-Go (坊ノ岬沖海戦). The Japanese battleship which appears in the video was sunk on 7 April, 1945. More than 2000 men died (may they rest in peace). It was a suicide attack, a kamikaze-type mission on the sea. However, this is NOT a political video. War is always terrible thing and sad tragedy.
