Years ago I had the privilege of seeing Kodo on there first world tour. Amazing show. If you ever have the opportunity to see one of these show live in person do it. No recording can give you the full experience of seeing and feeling this music.

Same here, saw them(Kodo) in the 90s, best show I've seen in my life, truly amazing. As a drummer I was blown away by the...power, high precision, complexity, speed, body language...everything was sooo high level. Bravo!!

This man is a true Odaiko master. Look at all that muscle definition and upper body strength. Amazing.
Watching those sticks wiz past his head on the rebound has me wondering how many closed head injuries are incurred by beginning drummers. Surely there must be a bloopers reel! :P
