'Memoirs (Wish You Were Around)' is one of the most heartfelt songs S.O. has ever written. The song is an intimate portrayal of what happens when a dear friend walks away from the faith. S.O. shares how it has affected him and pleas for his friend to return to the Lord.
Following up his last video for 'I Can Bear', S.O. continues to push the creativity and show viewers how to live a life shaped by theology. S.O. is still praying for his friend hoping he will come to the Lord in repentance. 'So It Continues' released November 13, 2012 and is S.O.'s first retail album.

This was 3 years ago so I'm not sure how you're doing now. But the great thing about God is that you don't have to find your way back. He's always with you, you just have to admit that you are a sinner and ask him to forgive you. He doesn't expect us to be perfect when we come to him, he just wants us to have faith in him and make an effort to live like Jesus. I'm praying for you.

This is such a powerful song and a very well executed video that vividly brings out the message. You can really see S.O.'s heart and love for his lost friend. This is a very good point! All I will say to this is that we have to grow as Christians... we cannot stop our growth to make sure that we do not push another believer away. At the same time, a newer believer should focus on their walk with God and not someone else's walk or they will be easily deterred. God is moving S.O. to higher places so He has to be obedient.

I've heard this song before and thought it was only ok, but I'm realizing now it was because I wasn't actually listening to the lyrics. yeah, that was a deep track. I have some dudes who I used to nominally 'Christian' alongside, God brought me to conviction of sin but they've gone further away and probs wouldn't care for nominally associating with Christ. Whether he's 'bringing them back' or just 'bringing them period', this song--and video--have been a keen reminder to pray for them to know His grace. Thanks for the good stuff, as usual, S.O.
