ALWAYS composition first. Without Ilayaraja, the song does NOT even EXIST! If you think it is SPB's voice that "enhanced Ilayaraja's music", then listen to Anirudh-SPB song, or Imman-SPB song or SPB's post-2k songs for other MDs. You will COME RUNNING to Ilayaraja music!!!
