THIS GUY POINTED A VERY SERIOUS ISSUE THAT IS : while driving ev people don't get notified on road that some vehicle is coming . Being an ev owner I think there should be some sort of FAKE EXAUST SOUND or some continuous beep (low) so that people get notified. I almost had close calls 3 times .

the funny thing happened next day i bought my chetak was i was about to ride my chetak after activating drive mode but a friend came from nowhere started asking how goood is the scooter etc. while chatting he unknowingly pressed the accelerator (pain of being soundless) in full throttle and me with my schooter jumped like a bazooka & hit on the footpath. which resulted a broken hand to me sadly. also there were lots of dents and painting i had to do the very next day i bought the bike. my suggestion to people is whenever you stop the bike drop the side stand for safety else you may also end up hitting a footpath while talking to friends onroad lol.

I am using chetak Ev for last 8 months and 6000 km. Very good built quality, best suspension, very satisfying experience.

India me kisi bhi city k andar koi 115km/hr ki speed se nahi chalata. EVs are mainly meant for city rides, not for highway rides. So, OLA's 115km/hr is not of any practical use for most Indian riders/owners.

After booking and cancelling 3-4 EVs finally I bought iqube. Ky 2 year ebike study is- Ola- fancy logo ke liye, feature rich. Chetak- status ke liye, premium look build quality, Premium pricing but less range (if your requirement is less then ok) Iqube - family bike. Super heavy build quality is great, range and speed is great, less price . For whome who needs all round things and less on look. Chetak is bit light weight than iqube. One thing I liked in chetak is that charger is insed the bike. I thought every brand must adopt this. We should have only cord outside. Chetak ko Speed me tedhe medhe turn leke bike ghuma sakte ho, iqube feels heavy for this. Apne aap me bullet jaisa feel ata hai.

Agreed 100 percent we dont need touch screen for car it is ok .. No booth space for 2 helmets ....

Jisko problem ayi usi ko pata... Me last 10 months se use kar raha hu Bajaj chetak... And i really happy with it. Till date maximum 210kg loading capacity lekar chala hu. No problem at all. And build quality is awesome he. Go for it. But b4 buying think twice coz it's not made for rough use. I am happy with my Chetak EV.

OLA should work on 3w auto and bring in a metal body scooter along with similar one to oki 90. Bajaj should launch ev version of Qute. Mahindra should relaunch it's 2 wheeler ev. And on the other hand all current ev majors should go for aquisition of bikes developed by Indian start-ups

In my opinion,The issue said in this vedio is subjective of maintenance, if any one not maintain the servicing of vehicles, so any vehicle cause problem and also he said the vehicle has accident also..... otherwise this scooter is very classy & heavy build

chetak is for those who can take good care of it. it is not for rough use its looks clearly says that it is not sporty scooter. and mainly it is not for chapri riders.

Chetak showroom should inform customer about proper Earthing for charger , before selling their vehicle. Don't blame customer for not having proper Earthing.

I have read about EVs and nobody mentioned how much a single charge would cost 1) At home, 2) At a charging station. In one comparison between EV and Suzuki scooter they gave cost per kilometer for EV is Rs 0.22 whereas for Suzuki it is Rs 2+. This aspect needs clarification.

Spares are abnormal expensive for Ex.headlight cost rs 10000,side indicators rs 2000 each you should be aware

2 wheeler particularly scooter should be driven at maximum 50kmph. I fell down badly running scooter at 80 kmph, head was saved due to helmet. Rest bruises was on arms, legs, bone above shoulder got dislocated. So safe driving is better.

I also own this scooter.. very good to drive but if you get problem.. then service centre don’t have spares. From last 20 days my scooter is in service center spare parts not available with the service centre. This makes this scooter totally unreliable. Seeing these problems,I have already canceled my other Chetak scooter. Totally not expected from Bajaj
