This series is a Sequel to Baahubali lost legends show which was on Prime & now is bought by Disney. So they changed few things & brought another story back. Baahubali TV series follow a Different Saga.

@@madhavgarg7460 Bahubali the lost legends is canon but more like taking place in alternate universe. If you want Canon of the world that the films show then The Rise of Sivagami, Chaturanga, and Queen of Mahishmathi novels cover that. Netflix has the rights for all these three books. Bahubali Crown of Blood is mostly a spiritual follow up of the lost legends. Disney bought the rights after Prime. But Variety magazine says this has more adult tone than just being cartoon like Lost legends. All these are Canon but with two different timelines.

@@revanth84 there should not be a concept of 2 diffrent timelines in bahubali and diffrent univrses , it just hould be canon to the world of the movies , so my take is that first the novels , then the lost legends , then this film and then the movies . I am saying this because the lost legends was not all cartoons , some story arcs were really good and the villains were also amazing and intimidating plus we got more scenes of young bahubali and bhalla and thier bond . i have no problem in this film being like a season 6 for the show .

Btw this isn't an anime. Animation produced in Japan is called anime. Also anime has a distinct style. Now this trailer's Animation style: It feels a bit cartoon-ish. Expected more... Hopefully the kalki Animation prelude wouldn't be in this style. Not saying it should like anime, but it shouldn't feel childish
