The best story is definitly the first game, the other 2 games have clearly less grand scale consequences.

Kill Strelok PDA isn't Scar's PDA. It's Strelok's. The CC made a mistake and he was wrongly supposed to kill himself.

8:25 The Military knew there were anomalies that can create high jolts of electricity, what they didnt know is that anomaly placements change after an emission. In operation Fairway the Military has scanned for anomalies, let an emission happen, and then proceeded to use the outdated anomaly map.

In my whole first playthrough of SOC, I always ask myself "Where the fuck do I kill Strelok?", Well now I know.

I overplayed all three parts of them at least 5 times, and I know all of the information and connection between them. And one question is going up "Why I am watching this video?", the answer will be "Cuz Stalker will never be enough!"

08:25 that is not correct. The military was actually not aware that the anomalies move after an emission. That fact rendered the maps given to the pilots, with outdated anomaly locations, useless and that is why the choppers crashed;).

So if Strelok is still alive in CoP, out of all the possible endings in SoC, Directors Cut seems to be, he didn´t join the C-Consc. nor died by being to greedy on the wish granter. He killed the C-Cons. group and got the information about what happend to the zone. CoP basically only is about a failed attempt to get to the now exposed cnpp, but by the help of Strelok, they survived and got information about the origin of the zone and how to better get into the zone next time. BUT The C-Cons. is dead and the crack in the Noosphere still open. So if the GSC Creator still remember theire own story and I guess they WILL follow theire Storyline, Stalker 2 should tell what will happen to the exposed cnpp, as well as whether they will be able to solve the now unchecked, ever widening crack in the Noosphere without the help of the C-Cons. or whether the crack will now adjust unchecked to the equilibrium that the professor in Clear Sky has been harping on about all along. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will tell..

That's a nice little start indeed but ... what about the novels? ;) The Trilogy indeed tells a lot what happens quite a while AFTER the zone was created buit the books start even before the zone was created, so tbh they should indeed be strongly considered

i'am alittle confused about Strelok in the 3rd game COP, how can strelok give information too the military if he died in the power plant or became a part of the C consciousness.....? i mean it would make sense if he destroyed the C con and made it out alive right.

So I am a newbie coming to the STALKER series due to STALKER 2 releasing on Series X next year. Whats the best way to play this entire series? Would it be just the Anomaly mod or literally to play each game. I dont have a problem playing each game its just the first game feeling incredibly dated. ( I know it released in 2007 )

He was a good STALKER

stalker, especially for its time, had a very good atmosphere. beside the clunky, cheap animations that look like they were done by someone with 15 hours of animation experience and gunplay, that felt more random then beeing in control, the only real disappointment for me, were the labs. theyre empty, not lab like, not much to discover

The mistake is that sokolov is a military pilot of one of the crached choppers. I wont say that youve made a mistake not saying that the C-contiousnes is a very shady group, but i guess you have to expirience full story yourself, its worth it.

why was the first chernobyl incident not mentioned, even though it was also related to the formation of the zone.

So far this fan made mod Stalker: Anomaly co exist with the story and lets you play as a regular Free Stalker in the zone post series. It's good!!! Hope Stalker 2 keeps all the same elements that made the game great with more refined mechanics and new stuffs instead of changes. Changing something that work and grows to be better will be destroying it.
