@Skratch Rapture How so ... he has tools but lacks solid kill confirms, is easy to hit and dies early. He is Pichu ... if you take away Pichu's annoyingly small hurtbox and death combos. Mewtwo is rated correctly ... lower mid tier. Wadi lost both his matches as Mewtwo due to what I mentioned.

@Skratch Rapture as i mentioned ... he has some good tools. But lets compare him to Rob or Pichu. Two good high tiers. Compared to both of them ... he lacking in multiple areas. Both can confirm up tilts to a death up air. Both can combo off their throws both higher damage off of a throw AND kill confirm combo off of throw. Mewtwo has " killthrows" that kill at HIGHER % than Pichu and Robs kill confirm throws. Pichu and Rob can chain a ton of hits into a death blow. Mewtwo has very few of these options. He has range and good single hits. Not much in terms of combos that do MORE damage and kills EARLIER from other characters. Now add Mewtwos insane horrible hurtbox ... what do you have? A decent but not great character. Every Smash 4 Mewtwo main dropped him for a GOOD reasons.

Mewtwo’s bair is so good I wish Wadi used it more. It’s -4 on shield and can be spaced against shields on taller characters

There is a huge con to it though. The tail becomes part of mewtwo's hurtbox and can be punished hard.

Anthony Stone you have to guess. It’s either short hop fair which air dodge would avoid, or shadow ball and you land and shield. You have to pick one and hope for the best

Logic needs to fact check some of this info, M2's fresh Shadow Ball does 31.5% and confusion does have the frame advantage the higher percent of the opponent but he was correct in saying you have to be in the air for confusion to combo into fair at 140%

The crappy part of that is that its at 140% where Mewtwo's upair kills most characters in most stages. Mewtwo just lacks good kill setups given how easy he is to hit with his hurtbox and how light he is.

mewtwo is such a fun character to play with but holy fuck, he needs some serious buffs because he's fucking trash. his advantage is great and has a good moves but the fact that he is so light is ridiculous. in pokemon he weighs more than 200 pounds which should be more than most human characters. idk man, just buff the character his disadvantage is atrocious
