I love that after you hear the cheering for Betty, you hear someone else cheering for Veronica. It's a small sign that, despite what she thinks at around 2:30 about everyone hating her, they really don't. The tide had clearly turned by that point.

A similar moment happens when they graduate in season 2. Everyone cheers when Veronica's name is called, and she's super shocked
