Yeah go with custom rom but just don't get the exynos version, performace and battery life sucks. I believe camera also bad compared to SD version. I just sold it a few days ago, owned it for 4 years.

@@dikkadofrom what I know, on the SD version, the bootloader can't be unlocked, so Exynos is the way to go.

@gradient5319 it looks like that, but it won't. I have my S10+ since it was launched, and I'm using it with a very minimalistic case (Samsung's official clear case). I've accidentally dropped it a few times on concrete and nothing happened to the phone, it still looks brand new.

I couldn't agree more! I'm still rocking my S10 after 4 years and it's still going strong. The battery life isn't what it used to be, but other than that, it's a great phone. I've been thinking about upgrading, but I'm not sure yet. It's hard to justify getting a new phone when my current one is still working perfectly well. I'm also not a fan of the notch on newer phones. I'm not sure why they haven't found a way to get rid of that yet. Maybe I'll wait until the S25 comes out before I decide. But for now, I'm happy with my S10

That "Time" was only four years ago and they still got updates until a few months ago. Yearly smartphone releases really fuck with your perception of time and you begin to think that everything older than 2 years is ancient, it's crazy.

2019 was peak smartphones. The Note and S10 lines, the OnePlus 7 Pro, the iPhone 11, and even the Pixel 4 are still 95% as good, and better in some ways, than their current versions.

Still have the s10 plus. Trully one of the best Samsungs ever made, I even dropped it multiple times on concrete and not a single scratch on it. It runs evetything still, getting an s23 soon because it seems like a worthy successor.

Recently traded my s10e for a s23. Only because my s10e had a cracked camera, and Sim card kept messing up. But besides that i would have kept it for years to come. I had a big SD card on it so i didnt have to worry about space. And i loved having an audio jack. If it wasnt for the camera and my sim card messing up i wouldnt have switched phones. Though i am enjoying the s23 but would have loved to keep my s10e until its death

Had the s10e for 5 or 6 years and I still love the phone. Unfortunately, I ended up buying the s23+ this year because the battery life of the s10e wasn't enough anymore. The 50mp lens of the s23+ puts a yellow tint/filter to the photos, and I end up using the 12mp. The single capture mode was/is way better on the s10e, more precise in which moments it should make the photos and gives you more options, like the same photo in color and black/white. Decided to buy the s23+ due to its battery and the cameras, but the only thing I'm actually happy about is the battery life. Maybe I created more expectations than i should have

As much as I love the S10, I hate the exynos performance and battery life. Just sold my S10 few days ago. Waiting for S24 Ultra and maybe it can last 4-5 years without breaking.
