S1000R Cruise Control & Quick Shifter Fix! | Works on S1000RR as well!

Tested the bike after and had no issues at all! Easy fix to a very common issue after some use on these bikes. All you need is a t6 torx bit to fix it and recommend loctiting the bolt as well! Follow for more videos on the S1K!

I think i have the same issue. Is it possible that, if the CC is activated, it now wont deactivate if you just pull the clutch?

Thanks for your video. I have a problem with CC not engaging. I thought it was the button at the top (I currently have it ziptied which leaves it in the on position all the time but allows the push button to engage the CC). To confirm, was it the micro switch at the bottom then which solved the problem? I am hoping mine is something that simple and avoid pulling the whole thing apart. Thanks.

For me it was the button that fixed it yes

@@Wickit96 Thanks. I took my multifunction unit apart and cleaned it up. Appears to have solved the problem. I don't think my problem was micro switches and I personally don't even see them so I suppose mine is different (R1200R, 2016).

Bro why have you locked the bottom switch in? Don’t they both need to be disengaged and work together with the clutch lever? 🤔 what happen if we lock the bottom switch through that plate ? Help*

After changing my levers I taped both of my switches closed! It's solved all quickshifter issues and the only downside is the bike won't start unless it's in neutral. Problem gone! I also had the hot start issue too.

So this fix allows you to use the cruise control and the QS? I’ve heard conflicting things that spinning that metal plate like you did fixes the quick shifter problems but disables cruise control, how did everything work after doing this?

Works perfectly fine for me with both quick shifter and cruise control

@@Wickit96 Alright thanks man I’ll give it a try, I’m getting hesitation and weird shifts with my QS. I’d rather do this than replace the $100 stupid switches haha
