Believe it or not it's easier to clutch up. A simple way to learn is...... Find somewhere you can practice and get into 2nd gear Stay in 2nd hold the rpm at 4k and just pop your clutch quickly pull and release the clutch while holding the rpm You'll feel her jerk when you release the clutch quickly!!! Now go to 5k rpm repeat 6k repeat 7 k repeat When the front wheel lifts a little your now in the ball park and can increase RPM It's important to start at a low RPM and hold it there Keep popping your clutch at a higher rpm until that wheel lifts up It's easier than power wheelies for me anyway I'm a novice but the clutch pop and knowing what rpm she lifts is extremely helpful In Europe some places restrict 1st on the test bikes so you have to use second for clutch wheelie Get up to speed 30-40 mph I don't mean 2nd from a stopped position
