*THIS SUPER CLEAN 2001 BMW 330i IS For Sale*
This is Episode 11 of Season 1 of a build series that I am doing. I am building a car from the ground up, building the engine, turbocharging and working with electrical System. This car will have a power goal of 750WHP by the end of the series. I am doing a FULL documentation of this build process "BOLT-BY-BOLT" for people to not only enjoy the content, but also in the hopes that I can help some people understand that are trying to do the same thing. This is going to take some time, so please bare with me and help support the channel by SUBSCRIBING!~

What would a power steering pump replacement cost at a reg. Mechanic shop?.....and how long did that take you?

For a BMW just like this you'd be looking at about 900 bucks with the cost of the pump. Crazy right.

And it would take them about an hour. This whole thing only took me like 40 mins to do but I was filming and setting up different angles and stuff so that's that's took so long.

Maybe time for an engine bay wash or at least some brake cleaner spray : )

You should check out this car before I sold it. Had it fully detailed and it looked gorgeous. Heres the link to that video. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m5qIqrd42t3ReZ8.html It was the last episode of season 1. It's a massive transformation. I did a before and after of when it was cleaned professionally.

@sbrave did you watch the video link I sent you? At the end of the video where I showed the after of when it was detailed, you will notice the airbox filter is in the trunk. I took it off to do all the engine work I needed to do to get this car running. The car doesn't need the airbox to run. It will run just fine without it. But when the guy detailed my car, I left the airbox off so he could get in the framerails better, but I didn't put it back on because he forgot to clean the airbox in the trunk. So it's a super clean engine bay and a dirty airbox. So I just put it on for the guy who bought it. But its funny because this one Indian kid came by to see the car one day and he had a mental breakdown about why there was no airbox on the car. He's like OMG why is there no filter. Did you.syart the car with no filter. Why did you have the filer off of the car. How long was the filter off for. Did you drive it with no filter... and thats the reason he didn't buy the car Super weird...

@@AllThingsQuick Sorry about that, lol. Maybe I didn't make it to the end? That's funny about the kid that asked all those questions! He could've cleaned the airbox and bought the car from you. I have a 2000 328CI 2dr, and the power steering seems janky, like it doesn't work 100%, so I've been looking at repair some videos and came across yours. I'm not sure if my pump is shot or what. I can only compare to my Honda CRV, which you can easily turn the wheel with 1 finger, and that is not at all possible with this BMW. I'm gonna have to get underneath and check the hoses, and the pulley, and replace the pump if necessary. Sorry about the confusion. Btw, that detailer did a great job!

@sbrave no worries mate. Yeah some of my videos are a bit longer for sure but I loke to give as much detail as possible for the viewer. You will enjoy my other videos. I am making this video series for a power goal of 750WHP for my 2002 325xi with a 3L built engine swap. Subscribe and stay tuned for my other videos. I try to upload as much as possible but I am quite behind on video editing at the moment. But this 02xi is going to an absolute MONSTER! You'll love it!
