Hey, y'all ! Welcome to the second season of CWCOI ! We are so excited to be back with you all after a few weeks away. In this week's episode our host, Ally Yost, talks about something that has been heavily practiced in our generation - and that is manifestation. Ally speaks further on how manifestation can easily distract us and keep us from trusting God and his timing/plan for our lives. God is the only one who is in control over the things that happen to us - good and bad. We shouldn't have to carry the weight of those things and learn to fully trust God and the blessings he gives us ! We hope the Holy Spirit speaks to you as much as it spoke to us in this episode. :) xx

The verse they stayed in my mind this whole episode was "I can do all things THROUGH CHRIST who gives me strength" Philippians 4:13

Great teaching!! This verse is commonly used out of context. I used to think that I could do literally anything I put my mind to because God would give me strength. But when you read it in its entirety, God gives me strength when I'm weak, poor, hungry, sick, sad, etc. It's more about enduring and being content in circumstances.

You can have the best intentions in the world, but the devil does not!!! He will use our best intentions against us. He will present things to us that have part truth and a LARGE lie, and sometimes that large lie is disguised as a ‘blessing’! Often times what people try to manifest isn’t even good for them! Only God knows our hearts and has our TRUE best intentions at the forefront! ❤️✝️

As someone who has seen both sides. I think that manifesting/Law of attraction is real and there is a lot of light in it but it’s very self serving and without God’s will. We are bringing things into our lives that we may not be ready for or are not in God’s plan.

Ahhhhh so happy for this! So excited for this new season, new mic drops and more JESUS!!!! ❤ Also friends, can I ask for prayer? My husband “C” and I “B” have been separated for about 3 months. I have left our marriage at the feet of the Lord and Im patiently waiting for restoration. I believe the enemy is after my husband because of the way he has changed and hardened his heart towards me, I just want my family back together. We have 3 kids ❤ Thank you soo much!!

Using verbiage love and light is very New Age verbiage. It's hard because New Age sayings are so ingrained we don't even notice it.

I would say be careful how you word things. When you said that manifesting a good attitude, work ethic, etc are good things, I would say that this is just having a good attitude. That’s not manifestation. The new age concept of manifestation is to speak things into existence. That’s totally different than just being positive and having a good attitude. Manifestation is a demonic concept. Law of attraction is also demonic. The concept of reaping and sowing is a biblical concept, but is not the same as law of attraction. The law of attraction factors out God and makes you to be your own God of your world. That’s why it’s demonic. But reaping and sowing factors in God and that He is the One who makes sure that you reap what you sowed. He is completely sovereign over our lives; we are not. Manifestation and law of attraction teaches us that we have full control over our lives. That’s not just a version of these things, but that’s exactly what these concepts are. There is nothing at all good about manifestation or law of attraction. So, I just wanted to encourage you to be careful the way you word things because you have been given influence, and it’s important that you share things that are rooted completely in the Word of God. ❤

@Girlsandpearls24 It’s very important that we know the word of God, because that’s the only way we will have any discernment to be able to point out these demonic lies from Satan. New age concepts are all the same thing that Satan tempted Eve with in the garden of Eden: “if you eat of the tree, then you will be like God.” That’s exactly what new age is. It basically says that we are our own god. Very demonic and deceptive!

Luke 11:11-13 NIV “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” The only thing we should manifest, is ourselves to the Lord. God gave us the greatest gift-the Holy Spirit, through Jesus the Holy Savior’s death and resurrection. When we accept Christ as Lord and our personnel Holy Savior, he manifests Himself to us! “Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him“ John 14:21. Remember y’all, as believers in Christ we have the ability to speak life and death. We were not meant for death, but only satan and his demons. Because of the Holy Spirit, our hearts change for the better and our desires as well. We should speak with life to our Triune Father, others (even the people we struggle to get along with), and ourselves. God loves you!! Thank you Ally for being such a beautiful vessel for The Holy Spirit. Keep going strong girl!!
