15:06 not great is putting it mildly. I both am autistic and I work in autistic support as a PCA. Which means I both live in and work with a population that is disproportionately negatively affected by police. And I have a cousin who works in the internal affairs department. This means I get roughly $18.50/hr and Ik for a fact that I still have a better record of brutality than the $35/hr guy whose entire job is keeping that record.

And like I would report to my cousin but he’s only really my cousin in-law and he is INCREDIBLY new to internal affairs and might be on his way out because and I quote “it’s bullshit. First the majority of complaints get turned away by the guy people get on the phone, then the majority of my part of the department fakes investigating it, then the ones who actually do it get treated terribly by officers who weren’t even being investigated,”.

Remember when we really believed that Chuck Todd was right, that there was NO WAY Trump could really win? Sadly, I never had that belief, because I worked with just enough people who I had previously thought were smarter than they turned out to be, and unfortunately also enough people who said they would never vote for Trump, but also said they didn't think they could vote for Hillary - not to mention all the people I'm related to in the midwest who were fanatical about Trump. Enough people that by September, I truly knew in my core that we could actually be in a lot of trouble. I work in an industry where people typically have advanced degrees, but either believed that Trump would be good for the outside-the-box behavior, or he couldn't be worse than Hillary. I wish I had worked harder to convince people that staying home was a vote for Trump. I wish I hadn't convinced myself that no, people could not really be that stupid. And now I go to bed every night praying that we aren't facing that exact same situation again.

Bruuuhhhhh... *Get.* The fuck. *Over* it. How are so many people that watch this show so lazy and entitled that they _complain endlessly_ about having to roll their scroll wheel, or swipe their finger, two or three more times than usual in order to get past the entire season of full episodes that were just made available to them for _free_ ? It's so crazy to me that a show that does such a good job of showing and encouraging humility, as well as remaining grounded in reality, can have soooo many unappreciative subscribers that even the slightest inconvenience to their day makes them genuinely mad at a channel that just provided them with *hours* of quality content, for *_free._*

I work for that agency. Please don’t assume that deputy didn’t know. He’s a good dude. Once someone has asked a question and gotten it answered, we don’t get involved in circular arguments. Those are absolutely unnecessary, and tend to amp people up, potentially resulting in unnecessary use of force. Not good for the arrestee or the deputy.

I didn't at the time, but I now disagree with what john says about fists being a match for weapons. Some people are natural born fighters and some have aggressive personalities that could result in death or serious brain trauma. You never know how skilled someone is at hand to hand combat and if an officer were knocked out, and the assailant didn't cease the attack afterward, that officer could be crippled or killed. I lose no respect for anyone, not just police, that uses a weapon as a means to stop an attacker.
