Comparison is something we all struggle with and Jesus is truly the only thing to free us from the bondage it can have on our lives. Through Him, we are able to joyfully accept and celebrate where we are and where those around us are too.

God has been dealing with me around this topic more intently of late. I tend to get stuck in a pity party. God really spoke to me through the book of Job, more specifically the last 10 chapters. He really opened my eyes and humbled me in a way that lifts up God and challenges me to trust Him and His ways. So if you struggle with this as well I suggest reading through Job. It’s a great book.

This episode has given me a HUGE revelation!! I really REALLY needed to hear this!!!! I’ve actually been trying to remind myself that everyone has a different relationship with Jesus and I have been finding myself comparing what I’m doing, trying to “earn” that fantastic relationship with Him that others have and I want so badly. I have been struggling with comparison on such a big level recently. I’ve felt almost a self hatred for myself. But wow this episode could not have come at a more perfect time. God is so intentional, I almost cried listening to this today. Thank you ally!! 🤍🤍

Like for me I’m not skinny nor fat but in the middle and a lot if times in my life I compare myself to other girls who have the body and other things but now I understand that it’s just my insecurities and I hope Jesus helps me to stop to comparing myself to others.

I got pregnant at 16 and ever since I feel like my life has been stuck. I’ve seen friends graduate college and start their career while I’ve just watched the years go by. The enemy has made me believe that I’ve missed out on things, or that I’m late for others, but that is not true. Looking back, I see the reason why God gave me the biggest blessing which was having a baby. I was going down the wrong path, fast! He blessed me and pulled me out and changed my life completely. Im about to turn 24 , been married since 18 and we have 2 little boys now. I thank God every day for pulling me out of where I was. I’m not behind, I’m not late, I didn’t miss out, Im not where I wanna be but I am right where I need to be. One day I will be living my purpose and my passion and I believe that. Ally thank you for this reminder, I truly needed it. May God keep blessing you with wisdom to spread his word🩷 All the honor and all the glory is for Jesus!🤍
