Wow God seriously just spoke to me through y’all!! It’s Romans 12:20, “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” I was actually reading Romans today and the way y’all spoke about this verse just really opened my eyes in a different way! Y’all are such a blessing🖤

I am a college softball player in Kansas pursuing in a Nursing career and it's my second semester here but these past two months I've been in my wilderness season and been really distant from God, going out partying & drinking with my friends, my grades were going down etc. Recently I pulled my hamstring during my softball game and I knew God did that to calm me down. I wasn't able to walk or go party anywhere so I started having mental breakdowns everyday and I finally cried out to God to help me get back on track with praying and reading my bible and every since then I've been putting him first. ❤️

My name is Aniyah I've been dealing with social anxiety for a while now. And I don't necessarily know what to do with it or how to ease it so I can meet Christians, make friends because I always feel stared at or judged. Like I don't belong anywhere. Early this year I've really been trying to stop being a lukewarm Christian and tap into God fr. But like recently ever since school has started back up for me in August I've just felt extremely drained like I can't do anything. I've been distant from God, more rude to my younger sister, my shutting out my family, and keeping to myself and not talking to anyone. I've just now started watching your podcast in an attempt to really start getting closer to God. But I still feel empty. I'm trying to be nicer to my sister. But I still don't speak out of my emotions, I still feel distant from God and haven't picked up my Bible, I haven't tried Bible studying ever, and I really just feel alone in this world. Sorry for going on a rant but can anyone give me advice or something I really don't want to live out the rest of my life like this and be distant from God that I end up doing something in the future to fill the void that I have.
@shepherdtheculture69299 ай бұрын
Make an everyday goal to say something to god through prayer and something nice to your sister. Everyday. Eventually it will become a habit and you will do those things effortlessly without having to think about it. As far as socially, just remember that the other side of fear is where a lot of your blessings live. So do things while being fearful until you build up the courage to do things without fear.

I've been dealing with social anxiety for a while now too and if there's one thing I've learned it's a tactic the devil loves to use to convince us we have to fear man or that our fears are bigger than our fate. In the midst of your anxiety or when you are acting in a way that you know isn't true to your character, put your faith over your feelings and over your fears. It's completely valid to feel that your anxiety or this distance from God is the biggest thing going on in your life, however, we cannot grasp the bigness of God and how much greater He is. He is closer than our very breath, did not give you a spirit of fear, upholds you with His right hand, and every path He leads us down is for our good and His glory. In your battle with anxiety and fear remember that you don't have to wait for peace, it's a matter of choosing to accept it because the Prince of Peace lives in your heart. I recommend you pray to God in a posture of faith and expectation, knowing He has plans to prosper you and not harm you; get to know God, His love, and His peace that surpasses all understanding; and know that these trials of your faith are producing perseverance. Trust God to fill you up and remember how loved you are ❤

what stopped before me from being 100% with God in the past was the bad things that happened to me as a child, then in my teenage years i lost my little brother and then at 21 i had lost my older brother the only sibling left that i had & i dove deep into the Universe worshipping because i thought i needed to see it to believe & now after i wasn’t healing & just stayed stagnant i realized God was the missing piece in my life. i was angry at him for letting things happens but i have to trust the process i’m 100% faithful to God again nothing is stopping me now!! i’m so proud of myself for choosing God and thankful for Him & his mercy (& she’s absolutely right saying the devil will keep u comfortable in your jail cell 🤌🏼)

52:15 - Isaiah 43:1-3, John 16:33. In this world, we will have to go through things pleasant & unpleasant, but God will be there with us no matter what. The title for that segment is perfect because you have to Know God by getting in His Word to have the strength and faith to make it through whatever circumstances we go through.
