I seen it the episode. The part where Spike had to blow his fire to the torch so the Equestria Games will begin and he will sing Cloudsdale's anthem. He thought he would sing Ponyville's anthem but he sang Cloudsdale's and he sang it WRONG!

He did nail it. They were just horrified on how off tune he was.

Just want to point out, for everyone wondering why the princesses were under the disabling spell as well, Have you forgotten that there were teams from outside of Equestria competing as well? Like Gryphons and Saddle Arabians? For me, its very likely that the princesses accepted being put under the disabling spell as a show of GOOD WILL to the other nations, showing them that there really would be no cheating at all, since other countries could possibly think that the princesses would use their magic to benefit the teams from Equestria.

I am a little bummed we didn't get to see more games, but here's the deal: would it have really mattered? We wouldn't have much characterization or morals out of just watching a bunch of events. Sure, it may have looked nice, but it wouldn't have meant anything in the end.

I particularly liked your take on Spike's botched version of the Cloudsdale Anthem; it was just as painful for me to listen to the first time around. However, I'm really looking forward to seeing your reaction to the finale. No spoilers, but I predict that at least four or five times in it, all of you will go completely apeshit over something. I certainly did.
