That first one is why you were your waterproof stuff and go in while it's raining, so you're set up when the rain stops... Awesome bucks guys.

Does everyone fully realize how amazing this footage is? It captures what many of us long time bowhunters have experienced...but couldn't relay as this video lays out. Just incredible stuff, Jared and camera man. Major props, once again, to Midwest Whitetail.

Tony we really appreciate that. It takes a lot of work capturing all of the hunts on film but it's very much worth it. It's even better when we hear it's bringing enjoyment to other hunters. Thank you for the support and good luck this season!

My heart broke for Jared when I watched this earlier this spring, and it just broke again. But what an incredible encounter! Most folks will hunt a lifetime and never experience anything close to that! That is something to be thankful for. :)

@@MidwestWhitetailVideos Man, what an encounter, been there! I encountered a buck like that my second year after moving here to TN, and was after him for 3 seasons! Had finally gotten permission to hunt this small 40 acre property and saw him my first season, and it became an obsession. Finally got my chance on him after 3 seasons and I still to this day don't exactly know how I missed except that when I released he hunched and jumped and I shot just barely underneath him. Never got another shot at him, broke my back later in the season and the next year the property changed hands. But very thankful I even got the chance! Great hunts guys, keep em coming!!

I would think that Hoyt has better hats for hunting situations than Black and Tan. Hate to see someone lose a chance at a great deer because of a hat. Great guys & great show as always. Thanks Midwest Whitetail.

We have our own little piece of heaven here in southeastern NC. A lot of work behind me & a lot more to come. Working with the local agriculture extension agency to develop a wildlife plan for the farm (forestry, streams, & crop lands), with a little extra of my own research thrown in. Would love to share the outcome with y'all one day. Whitetail deer are my addiction! Everyone else benefits (wildlife), even the neighbors. Thanks for commenting back!

Chasing November is the start to my season every year. I go from fishing every weekend to watching episode one. 2 and 3 and by the 4th episode I’ve already put my fishing gear up and start with game cameras , scouting and checking stands. Can’t wait to do some social distancing.

Man Jared shouldn’t of been wearing that light/ brown hat and probably should have been wearing face paint. His figure wasn’t broken up enough but nonetheless it was an awesome encounter!!
@elliott51844 жыл бұрын
I told my brother something similar as soon as I watched that. I said “I think if he wasint wearing that black hat he would’ve killed that deer.” Hunting in the ground is a totally different animal. I was so bummed for him. He’s my favorite guy on here because he is so patient and particular about the deer he chooses to hunt.
@claytond65654 жыл бұрын
Totally agree with you both.
@anthonyb11274 жыл бұрын
you can get away with a lot of stuff hunting from a tree stand but trying to ground hunt with a black cap and no face mask or face paint is asking to get seen. helps to stay dead still and not even blink a eye if they do spot you. most often they will rule you out as a threat if they dont wind you. been hunting on the ground for over 30 years and figured i would point out some of the same mistakes I've made.

Hi, My name is Jared. I currently have 6 million iowa buck tags in my pocket. So you'll be pretty much watching nothing but me hunting 8 or 9 monsters per episode. Am I jealous.? Yes!

You set up to get that close and spook him not real sure It was a good plan to many if need to happen and not happen u were definitely taking a major chance oh in thought this before seeing what took place he was to big to not put every possible variable in your favor not the bucks he got that big not by being stupid
