What the hell is it with Volvo making these incredible sounding engines and then hiding it behind mufflers? That sounds sick

Excelent mod. Enough snarl but not too loud.

I removed the rear end muffler on mine and it started producing a lot of resonance around 2000-3000 rpm... despite the fact that it doesn't sound very nice.

Can these engines be made to low frequency six cylinder idle sound like the whiteblock in the 960?

I wish i did this instead of muffler delete. Although muffler delete sounds alright. Im doing a borla xs muffler and deleting the resonator then ill be adding a cutout valve.

Sounds great! I'm debating doing some exhaust mods on mine. I see it's an OSD car; when did you pick it up? I picked up my '14 S60 T6 RD in late April that year. Looks like you drove the 'Ring... I was told they wouldn't permit cars with the red plates. The lighting in the video is a little flat; I can't tell if that color is Rebel or Power Blue.

so how did you make this system? so between the twin pipe and rear muffler is just a straight pipe? how loud on the highway?

Just did a resonator delete, and it sounds nothing like this. Is this catless downpipe too?
