Marking the beginning of Night Crew Season Six, "The Life of an Undeserving Son" will reach people in ways the team never expected. Team member Chris Robinson tells his personal story of how night hunting became part of his life and it's a journey you would not expect. This gut wrenching special episode for him hits home in ways no shows have before as for him, it's personal. Theres lots of content out there on the internet with many great stories. Some are real and some are manufactured, THIS one is as real as it gets and shows just how there are some things, THIS life only gives you one chance so you better make every second count. If you believe GOD is real, this one will hit home. If you don't, hopefully this will change your mind.

Chris, I too was raised and am a Pentecostal. At the end of the vid when you gave your tribute to your Dad, and talked about the healing power of Jesus, it brought tears to my eyes. Youll never forget what your Dad did for you, how he taught you about Jesus and gave you a love for the outdoors. The legacy of your Dad will love on through you. Wonderful Video! Keep serving Jesus, and you will see your Dad again!

My Dad was diagnosed with cancer back toward the end of ‘07 with a short time to live. He lasted until September of ‘08. I was living across the country from him for a long time. When I got the news I came out and was able to spend the last 6 months or so of his life with him. Had to take care of him doing things I never thought I would have to do or could do. I didn’t know Jesus Christ then and neither did he. I also would give everything I have just to have one more day with him so I could try to get him to come to Jesus. I’m hoping to pass along my recent love for hunting along to my 8 year old son. We both really enjoy your videos and this one hit me pretty hard, I’ll admit it, it made me cry. Keep up the great work, and God bless.

Boy that was a great heart felt tribute to your Dad. I'm sure he's watching from above and saying Good Job Son. My Dad raised me the same way. While in the Navy I got away from hunting some. Once I retired from the Navy in 1997 he got me into Archery Deer hunting. My current wife enjoys the outdoors about as much as I do. We haven't done much Night Hunting but she loves going to the range, going hunting and putting trotlines out for Catfish. My Dad isn't able to go anymore because of a stroke, dementia and sundowners disease. Any time I go I'm always thinking of him and thankful for him bringing me up like he did. God Bless them and you for sharing your story.

Just saw this today. Our stories are not too different. I'm teary-eyed looking up at the picture of Dad above my desk right now. Thank you for reminding me just what great times we had together. More importantly, one of the greatest blessings I've ever received, a Dad who gave me a love of the outdoors.

What a wonderful tribute. My dad died accidentally when I was just 11 (he was mortally wounded in a dog attack in front of our home); it impacted all of us more than we'll ever know. I still think about him (and mom) just about every day. Thanks Night Crew, you made my month and I hope I'll never forget your great story and your wonderful love of God, your father, your family, life & upbringing, and business.

Your life was a lot like mine. My first game calling tapes in the 1980's were Burnham Bros and Johnny Stewart made, wounded rabbit. I too in my youth skipped parties and social events with others my age to go fox, coyote and raccoon hunting at night instead. I lost both of my parents to cancer treatments. The treatments had killed them both before their cancers ever did. My hunting buddy was my dad's youngest brother, Uncle Tommy. Lost him to heart and lung disease in 2004. I haven't hunted or fished much ever since. He was my best friend. Thanks for telling us your life story, Chris. I too have missed my family very much.

Really nice work! Cheers Gents! EDIT - As a man - I have enjoyed treating my Dad and Mother, as an adult since I was 25 or so. Love - chats - sharing our views - I was a blunt person for a lot of years. As we have talked thru all the years my brother and sisters - have never - just talked to them like an adult - a mature relationship. And yes - I have told my dad - he has said them words to me too - I love you - and yet with my grandfather - My dad never had the openness that i present. I have had 26 years with my parents as my friends - and the sad part - is they are getting close to an age where their parents passed. I have told them both - that I am blessed - because I had them as friends all these years. Share that with yours! It is just a suggestion, but well worth the effort!

Great video tribute to your dad brother. I wish I had taken the time with my dad when I could. He and I didn't have a great relationship and when he came to me when I was a teenager and apologized for the things, he done I was still angry and unforgiving. years later I forgave and wanted to spend time with him, but he had gotten older and didn't want to go and do things anymore. I'll never forget the morning my sister called me letting me know we lost dad. I loved my dad, but things always seemed to get in the way when we had the time to spend time together. now I wish I had been a forgiving son when he first came to me and apologized so many years ago. I miss him terribly and still feel terrible for not being the forgiving son I should have been. sorry for so long.

You are truly blessed for all the right reasons. My grandfather did the same for me as your father did for you. Hunting, fishing, trapping, Fox calling (we didn’t have coyotes yet). He molded who I am today. I too tell folks I am blessed and not by the material things I own but by who I got to look up to, learn from and, be loved by. Your father knows and is watching. Maybe he hangs out with my Pappy as they look down on us and smile. Keep up the good work! Love your videos and I hope to some day predator hunt again.
