Indian mindset was the biggest reason for failure of this car. I almost bought this car 7 years back, but family & friends made sure I bought Alto. When i applied for car loan, even bank manager asked me to go for something else. Still I dream of buying this Nano. There cannot be any other practical car for City drive than this. Then came AMT version, which was icing on cake.

Nano was very close to my heart because it was my first car when l learnt driving and I use to treat it as our family member.

I needed an affordable vehicle for my college, I was planning to get a scooty for 1-1.2 Lakhs, but instead went for a nano with CNG already fitted for 1.17 Lakhs, and it gives 29 mileage in city, AC, keeps me safe from rain and sunlight. Very good car for me atleast💙💙💙

I have Tata Nano Twist XT (top model) 2015.. with this lovely family car, I went to extreme Hills like Darjeeling, Tiger Hill, Mirik, Kalimpong, Gangtok Sikkim etc.. even long highway 200km one side without any harrassment.. Power Steering, Front Power Windows, 12v, Aux, Bluetooth with Phone receiving, CD, Pendrive, FM, 4JBL speakers, AC, Digital MID with Fuel empty warning, Handbrake alarm, DTE, Avg Fuel Economy, Trip, Odo, clock, Power 4Door lock, Remote central locking, Power Brake, 80L boot space & with plenty cabin space.. On road price was 3lac, but Nano was about to launch its Hatch Open model with new Steering & 24L tank, so I got 40k discount & took it in 2.6lacs only... Indian foolish people always criticized this car because they didn't wanted to take risk buying this car. It's a lovely comfortable City car upto 90kmph speed, extremely good handling.. thanks #RatanTata ji 🥰

I still remember my uncle's friend had a Nano twist (purple) it was soo good ... Once we had gone for 50kms in that and u won't believe we were 8 person sitting there ... 3 persons in the front & 5 at the back ... And it was soo comfortable, even the car was also running soo smooth & fast no problem at all .. its music system was also too good and the AC was literally fantastic.. it didn't felt like it's a small car from inside ... So spacious and comfortable..Mileage was also very good we had just put 5-7 litres of petrol in it and travelled (going + returning) 100+ kms ..👌👌❤️💯 It was really a lower middle class people car but our unfortunate is that everyone just defamed it without knowing it's practicality...💔

I'm proud of my nano 13years old and without any problem running daily and it's almost run 75 k 😀

It's the perfect time for TATA to relaunch this car as an affordable EV for masses.

we have the same model and same color nano as shown in the video, and its amazing. we bought it in 2011 and it still works perfectly, i belong to himachal but we live in chandigarh , we also drove it from chandigarh to himachal and it also works significantly well in hilly areas . I owned Tata Nano Lx variant and I can't comprehend the disgust I got from my Neighbours and the by standers when I drove this. Car was absolutely awesome in driving and mileage was also good but the whenever I drove this on road I got that stringent feeling of mockery made by ongoers who are in different vehicle even the people on bike and auto made fun of the car That's the reason I only drove 5000km in its 11 years of life. I was ashamed of this car as in our society car depicts our standard of living Recently I bought a second hand Ford endeavour though it's second hand I feel much better driving this Beast 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
