I was surprised to hear there was criticism that there was no sexual assault on the female characters!? 🤦🏻♀️ but regarding consequences for women with power, I did think so for marcella because to me she was a villain while not for lila because I didn’t think of her as a villain

Lots of name which were used in her books, were originally Persian, and was taken from Persian stories, it’s sad she used them as Arabic names , as she was insisting in Arabic side of story and culture she shouldn’t of used other country stories as a Arabic’s one
