There’s no fans like the the Afrikaners. the passion , the respect, just beautiful. Just hearing them sing together on home soil, where the country comes together to celebrate this amazing team

I worked with Anlia on Getroud met Rugby. So awesome to see her sing our Anthem, Also the BEST EVER SUNG. !!!

She sang it well I thought the pace she sung it was a little too fast compared to the 50 000 odd people in the stadium so you can't say "best ever sung" just because you know her and because she's engaged to Eben. Be real.

Now _that's_ how a crowd sings an anthem! Best I ever experienced in the flesh was in Cardiff at the Millennium Stadium. The home anthem was mind-blowingly good, but I think watching this here, the Cape Town crowd might have topped it. Word has it "Flower of Scotland" at Murrayfield is a bit special so I look forward to hearing that one day. 🙂🏉

As excellent as this was, I thought that the Welsh National Anthem was sung absolutely brilliantly! The performance was near perfect and I got goosebumps listening to it! I am a Springbok supporter too!

I have been to a Rugby match before, most people actually sing the whole anthem proudly. Maybe the Afrikaans part is loud because the stadium has mostly Afrikaans people. I bought tickets for the New Zealand game, it’s going to be fantastic!

@@MosesMatsepane Cape Town is probably more English than Afrikaans, I seem to recall. It is the inland cities (Pretoria, Bloemfontein, etc.) that are more Afrikaans.

I went thru so many different South African national anthem. It is true that whenever the Afrikaans portion started, the damn volume went out of roof 😂

I'm South African and my mother is Irish, we belt out Ireland's Call (or are you referring to "A Solider's Song"?) whenever the irish play I'm not sure why some of the irish aren't that fond of it, It always is sung with a lot of passion in the stadium.

Best anthem… pity it was followed by 80 min limited ambition Nienaber rugby. A betrayal of what South African rugby has the capability to deliver. Score should been 50-0 SA.
