3:28 9 seconds yun na walang hingahan grabe. On the 5th second na hindi sya humihinga sa 3:33... biglang nilakasan at sinustain yung napakahirap na closed vowel birit na saKIIIIIIINNN. Di sya tao. Yet those technicals, hindi mo na mapapansin because of the emotions! You'd think talaga na yung birit na yun is just an exclamation point to the emotions. Hindi showing off at pakitang gilas yun.

Haunting, riveting, breathtaking. How Regine turned this romantic song into a requiem for a departed loved one, or even the very ode of the departed himself to mourners at his wake − somehow it worked both ways! − is a proof of her brilliant interpretation. The soaring orchestra made this ethereal, but the evoked grief and hope − it's all Regine.

There's something about her talent na sobrang iba sa ibang belters at singers. May sarili syang mundo at standards. Na akala ko kabisado mo na ung technique nya pero nagagawan p din nya ng iba. Tama ung iba, di nya binibirit to impress others. Yung storytelling nya ang nakaka impress. Na eemphasize tlga nang husto ang galing nya kapag hindi masyado si Mitra ang conductor. Unless andyan sya.

Gerard Salonga ba naman ang conductor e. Last project he did with her was her Twenty concert. Wish she'd do more concerts with him! Kaya lang nakatali na si Gerard sa ABS :( Kainis yang network war na yan e. Pag napapartner si Regine kay Gerard or Mr. C, mas lumelevel-up at nagiging world class.

Just superb!! This is Regine! She can always give the song much much better version every time she sings.. Oh God. This is our local equivalent of the solemn "In Memoriam" segment at the Oscars. No other way to do it best than to combine Gerard Salonga, an orchestra, Regine Velasquez and an OPM masterpiece. More than her vocal prowess, what sets Regine apart is her powerful story telling and interpretation. This is Regine at her finest.

Regine can do no wrong singing in our Mother Tongue. She gives each word an emotion that penetrates and searing. Either Kundiman or Popular Music, she interprets each song with finesse and vocal agility. She transports you and make you feel part of the song that you just have to stop whatever you are doing and be transformed. Truly a gifted vocalist.

We have the same side of thinking 😞na sana bata parin sya not bec para makanta nya ang mga bagong kantahin ngayon but to preserve her voice at marinig at makapag perform forever but we have to accept na ilang yrs nalang mawawala na at hndi na sya makakapag perform gaya ng dati 😢😢😢

Her voice meant to fly, her high belts always cover by emotion and conviction thats make her differ and stand from other singers, the Songtress with true embodiment of songbird, so mythical, divine,magical, and enchanting…. her voice makes u fall in love, makes u grieve, inspires u, fierce sometimes and or can tear u apart, delicate yet montrously powerful…

International artist naman si Regine ah kaya tinawag na Asias Songbird nga siya eh. Baka sinasabi mo sa Hollywood, sa time niya kasi mahirap talaga maka penetrate ang Asian Singer sa Hollywood. Saka nagkaroon na siya ng offer mula sa x husband ni Mariah si Tommy Motolla siya lang nag declined. Reason niya pano kung di siya sisikat doon, baka wala na daw siyang balikang career sa Pinas. At nandito family niya sa Pinas.

hindi pa talaga +hotstuff400 as in, May 22, 1993 noong una siyang nagpunta dito sa Butuan City eh hindi pa ako pinanganak nun i was born in 1994. Magkasuyo yung title ng tour/concert niya that time. buti ka pa i'm sure maraming beses mo na siya napanood live. pero okay lang malay natin isang araw magbalik siya dito. really hoping it to happen.

Joesilo Vistal oo i had my share din naman pero hischooler ako nung prime niya. pinaka up close ko sa kanya was during her Reign album promotion. kasama niya lagi sila dingdong and gabby nung time na yun. dala2x ko r2k and reign album niya na pinirmahan niya sobrang starstrucked ako nun.. and totoo yung sinasabi ng iba na iba talaga ang experience pag live mo xa narinig kumanta.. :)
