Ndumo Game Reserve in the north-east of KwaZulu-Natal, is THE bird paradise in Southern Africa. Visitors can expect a feast of birds throughout the reserve, especially around the magnificent Nyamithi Pan. There are no lions or elephants in the 10,000 hectares reserve, but many other mammals, trees, and of course, birds. The total area of the reserve is a Ramsar wetland.
