I had a privilege of meeting umama uNoxolo in person back in 2003.She would come to the shop I was working from to do her shopping across East Rand Mall.When I got home I was so excited telling everyone I met her.What a warm personality. I was a bit reluctant to approach her at first. Having had bad experiences with younger celebrities. I remember umama u Noxolo Grootboom growing up at home with my family when I was a kid in primary school, we used to watch her on tv like many South Africans, reading the news. She used to say "Ndinithanda nonke emakhaya and my family would say "uthandwa sithi Noxolo." I am watching this crying. I am so happy to see her once again.
