SA's state Voice to Parliament 'deeply offensive' to Aboriginal communities

SA One Nation MP Sarah Game says she has been contacted by Aboriginal communities informing her the state’s new Voice to Parliament structure is “deeply offensive”.
“I think it is going to be an unknown as to how this Voice is going to work,” Ms Game told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“Ultimately, these 100 people will be represented by one individual in parliament.
“My understanding from the Aboriginal communities that have contacted me is that is completely against their cultural beliefs and very deeply offensive to have others speaking on behalf of their communities.
“So, how that will actually play out in a timely manner I think remains to be seen.”

What are you talking about? No one voted twice, this was to elect representatives to an advisory board. For your Friend: The 40 billion dollars has been accounted for, you can read the 2017 Indigenous Expenditure Report. 40 billion is very misleading it was a dogedy talking point used back in 2017 by the then-liberal government to appear like they were spending money on Aboriginal communities. For starters it wasn't 40 it was 33.4 $33.4 Billion is the total that both directly and indirectly affects Aboriginal communities. So when the government would fund a rural fire service they would consider "Aboriginal spending" the same as Medicare, hospitals, schools, and even foreign aid and border control if it happened in or around any Aboriginal community the government would classify it as "Aboringal funding" even though it didn't directly go to an Aboriginal program. The Same report puts "Direct spending or Indigenous-specific " So money exclusively for Aboriginal people to be actually around 6 Billion, for context that's about 1.3% of the overall national budget

Another ideological stupid thing to do. Many people who are bulked billed now will not be bulked billed as the cost will flow to the people visiting the doctor. All premier said on this was "nothing has changed" What piss weak answer for many for struggling. Have got your renewal for house and contents insurance. It's gone through the roof. And all this man can say is "nothing has change." Well I hope that something will change and your govt is tossed out of office. I also want an undertaking from the liberals that they will repeal the Voice bill. We don't want it simple. I have not heard anyone quote figures on the turn out to vote and % that actually voted, or is this held back under a secrecy order. Faceless men and women who will determine outcomes for our state and probably hold back progress and jobs. Get rid of Aboriginal Affairs as they the Dept of uselessness and replace it with the Voice under auspice of a govt Dept. I visited Australia years ago and there was a group of Aboriginals all dressed up charging tourists money for pictures with them. Tourist were calling out to them to come over for a picture saying "here Aboriginal san", and they had no problems with it. Now, they figured out that victimhood is power. I often wonder if they are still there all dressed up slagging for pictures.

Albo put the vote to the people at a cost of 450 million $$$$ the Vote came back as a NO for the voice across all of Australia But South Australia Labor there not happy it was a show of hands No but labor’s going to change it

South Australians voice is deeply offensive to me as well but I’m only a white Australian so my opinion doesn’t come into it.

Do forget every bit of land in South Australia belongs to everyone why because it is that our taxes that goes towards everything which is done within our State. You can't use taxpayers money for aborigines and say we have no rights to access any part of our State.
