In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this suv while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this suv designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

I am a Ford guy, but no one makes a nicer SUV than GM! Damn! That's a nice truck! That truck will tow fairly decently as well. My 1996 2 dr. Tahoe Sport with the 5.7 & 3.73 gears and will pull a car and trailer at 80 mph all day long!

It's so crazy I'm watching this when I already own one lol. I completely LOVE this SUV. Get so many compliments on her ,yes it's a she and her name's Tahati'Luv. Will never EVER let this SUV go seriously!!

@@abdusinc2557 Its AMAZING!!! Drove it from Memphis,tn to Texas. Rides like a dream. The seats are comfortable,The 4 wheel drive comes in hand off road. It has the economy fuel (sorry not very good with mechanical things) and I only spent $266 on fuel going to and from Texas. The third row is really not for adults over 5'5 tall.Has plenty of room. The air and heat are beyond blasting.Hardly had any mechanical problems. My husband has the 04 LT and will be keeping it and purchasing another the same exact year similar to mine. The SUVs are dreams seriously.

Majestic Momma That’s good to hear! I’ve been looking at other SUV’s of the same era such as the Sequoia, Armada and Expedition, but so far I’m leaning towards the Tahoe. My little sedan just isn’t doing it for me anymore. I also plan on doing several cross country road trips with my family so I need all the space and the comfort. You just persuaded me even more into getting a Tahoe!

The Tahoe's/Yukon's began to suck after the year 2000. I like the ones from the 1990's. They look like real Chevy and GMC compared to what they make now! But still, GM has some of America's best engines, and build a lot of reliable vehicles!

Izza__Teee you’re right! If you drive them well they can last for decades. I know a guy with a 98 Tahoe and it’s still running. My dad had a suburban with over 200K miles. I had my 06 Tahoe till this year and it got stolen unfortunately. It had 175k miles on it and only had 2 major problems with it. The vacuum and the CV axels. I miss it, but now I have my eyes on a 2019 or 2011.

I compleatley agree with you there, you hardly ever see any 05 or older vehicles out on the road anymore. Most vehicles today are like cellphones use them for two or three years throw them away and buy a new one. They don't last like they should.

The Camaro and Equinox, among other Chevies are built in Oshawa, Canada. The Cruze and the Corvette are made in the US of A. Just like the Silverado, Suburban, and Tahoe are built in GM's Arlington, Texas plant. 00.50 Pause the video. See that sticker? It's the seal from the Arlington plant. Check yourself before you wreck yourself.

@DrJohnBecker It's probably for gas mileage, I think GM started cutting back use of the 3.73 and 4.10 rear end in 2005 for that purpose even offering a 3.08 rear end.

@HomeBoyTellEm28 We were getting 23 mpg pulling a pop up trailer. When you're cruising, 4 of the 8 cylinders deactivate so you actually get good gas milage for a big SUV.

Lynx is the highest trim line the tahoe offers. Z71 is simply an off road package you have the option of adding....

@wheely132 This one is 325 cubic inch. has no relation with the old 327 other then having 5.3 liters. That said Some spec sheets say the 327 is a 5.4 liter and that the 5.3 motor this has is a 323, so I guess no one knows the actual numbers.

Its reliable. This was on Consumer Reviews and the SUV was rated 9.5 out of 10. That's great and if you don't think it is, then you are not very smart.

@assanoe They're key is in need of a bigger update, I sort of like the interior. It looks classy but keeps everything fairly simple. I've been considering getting the police version, seen them for dirt cheap in my area ($10,400 for an 07 with 60 thousand miles!)
